On the Moccasins On The Ground tour of resistance on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal homelands, huge thank you to all who were in involved and supported the effort in stopping the KXL Pipeline.
Miigwetch for your beautiful song! I had honestly been thinking of suicide lately, coming up with a plan and everything, but when I listened I felt comforted. I was reminded of my worth and everything my ancestors fought hard to protect. When I raised my fist too, I got chills all over. Miigwetch 💓
B K you are a warrior ❤️✊🏽miigwetch for sharing your story. Thank you for believing in yourself to keep going and maybe even inspiring others to too. Best to you

Many have tried to break me, yet while close to doing so, *they failed.!* Aoó! You are not alone, my Relative, and we are *not* conquered. We stand TOGETHER, Women Warriors For Our Peoples!
Beautiful. I am so proud of all the Children of the Earth Mother for taking a stand for ALL the people of the Earth. That's true bravery. Thats what true Spiritual Warriors do.
That strong clear voice, reminds me of my moms singing at ceremony and in the car with us kids, before she had her stroke. Made me tear up, so beautiful!
I'm so mad about the two people who disliked this video.I love native american vocals some how I feel it's in my dna and roots because I always want to dance and jump when I listen to native sing in spirit I think it's the most pure and bueatiful soul binding with all elements and the ground.
ᓴᐅᐧᐦᑳᑌᐤ sawohkâtêw : blessings. Beautiful : ancestral power. Song born of more than one indigenous nation, a sign for our times. 🪶✨☺️❤️🔥🖤🪬📿🦉🫶🏼🦬🪷🌻💫🌊🐋🌳🦅🐞🏳️🌈🧿🙏🏼
This song comes from the Lil'wat People of Mount Currie, B.C. and was received by an elder named Martina Pierre. The song often gets mixed up as a war song though it is meant to heal as all songs are. It reminds all to take pride in ones self and to carry strength in all we do in life. True Warriors are not only fighting war, but providing for families and sharing all the knowledge they have received with those around them so that others can live a rich life as well. We sing to honour ladies for all they do as they gather their strength for all the days to come...and especially to honour Our Mother "Earth"
Lacey George the reason this song traveled so far is because a group of women were protesting against the pipelines and they got arrested. When they walked out the police station people sung this song and the women had their right fist in the air. (I could be wrong but this is what I was taught.)
Now that the pipeline has been stopped, are they going to remove what has been built on native land. If this is not done, future people may continue with it's construction. I ask that all of it be dug up and removed from the land.
