I believe it was mentioned the watch was also acts as a heart monitor, so perhaps in chapter 2 it will act like the health meter sorta like in resident evil 7, I believe as the game progress the critter cuff will play a more active role and become invaluable.
So to comment on Theftking's whole "Isaac Indigo is a stupid name" bit, I feel like saying that a last name is stupid is a very shaky criticism since real life has a ton of examples of "stupid surnames" that are legit with actual etymological histories. Like, I know a man who's last name is Bacon. Also, Indigo IS actually a legitimate last name. It's extremely uncommon but it still exists.

I don't understand why theftking is comparing this game to Garten of Banban. Indigo Park actually has fun and interesting things in it, and it was made by a college student, while Garten of Banban continues to be less creative and "Scary" with anything they try to put in their games.

I never liked Theft King, this comparison between GOBB and Indigo park is just fucking outrageous. Reincarnated was made by a guy with zero game development experience. Indigo park was made by the guy who made the hit Reincarnated. Plus how could Indigo park be a cash grab if it was free? It's a big hit within the community and it really blew me away with how good it was even if it was a 30 minute chapter. It took inspiration from PPT and FNAF with some of the sequences it has.

Random thing, but I would like to point out the water fountain and how it spins. This is very difficult to pull off, as it would require a special type of piping to allow water to flow as it spins. This does exist in real life and there is a patent online for it. It was invented for a spinning house so the house could receive water.

I kind of agree with some of his points and it's ok to be critical; I mean look at Scott, his game chippers got criticized and that's what drove him to make fnaf. However, I think it's too far by saying that Indigo Park is nothing but a shallow cash grab because it clearly has some talent and effort put into it despite the game's flaws. Also, Theft King is just clearly one of the biggest hypocrites and egoistical people out there.
i don't mind the references in these games. Rambley as Helpy from FNAF, Mollie getting killed the same way as Ms. Delight from PP cpt3 and that one part in Indigo Park that looks like Playcare. ToT has some references too. i think they're pretty cool having references.

No way theft called the DogDay sequence boring, and Indigo Park being more unoriginal than banban. The DogDay chase sequence is executed really well and the build up is thrilling. Indigo Park literally takes inspiration from other mascot horror games, INCLUDING POPPY PLAYTIME, FNAF AND BANBAN. UniqueGeese literally likes Fnaf and Poppy Playtime and respects them. Why would he rip them off? He also wants to learn from those mascot horror games and learn to help improve his game. BanBan's environment is plain and boring, while it's puzzles are uninteresting. GoBB 1 and 2 are literally clear ripoffs of Poppy Playtime. GoBB tried to copy Poppy Playtime, but turned it into slop and a mess. The Devs couldn't even model the remote right. Indigo Park takes takes inspiration from Poppy Playtime and does give references, but does it in a respectable way and with passion. It also does take inspiration from GoBB to, but makes it actually interesting, and tries to fix it. Indigo Park's designs and characters are nice and good while also having charm. They also actually have life to them unlike garten of banban(except Bittergiggle and Toadster). UnqiueGeese also stated that Chapter 1 was just a taste of the game, and is meant to show you the ropes. It will eventually improve a lot and get better like Poppy Playtime did.

Gonna be honest, it used to be cool to hate on BanBan, but honestly it just had a lot of growing pains. It’s gotten better, it’s not scarier and the story isn’t amazing, but it has its own charming qualities when you pull the curtain back a bit. They aren’t pushing the merch as hard anymore, the games are getting longer and introducing more game mechanics, and the Brothers took a step back and realized that they were being jerks before and made peace with a lot of their old enemies. As for Indego Park, it has a few things that I, and many others, have noticed, but I’m confident that Unique Geese is goi f to take the critiques in stride and use them to help his game. This is only his second game after the BanBan fan game he made, and that was when he only had a week’s worth of game dev experience.

Say what you will, but I think mascot's head decapitation is not what you expect this from mascot's horror genre before. Yeah you have the Hour of Joy vhs footage from Poppy Playtime chapter 3, Catnap and ms delight's deaths but straight up head decapitation from a living being?
nah this is some tame stuff, Poppy playtime is way more gorey, huggy fell down a pit and left a bunch of blood splatter (probably broke his bones) and this is the leadt brutal death of the game, right after we have what is probably the most brutal death of mascot horror, mommy got fucking crushed alive, miss delight died in a similar way as molliez except here the door snapped her Head, dogday got his fucking organs eaten by little creatures and then got used as a skinsuit, and catnap got electrocuted and burned alive, and killed by the hands of his own god. Poppy playtime is definitively the most gorey and violent horror game ever
