Great discussion! I agree that it's ambiguous about the person she has lost, in the song. I think it's deliberate, to make the song more applicable to everyone, cos the individual stories may be different but the emotion that we feel is the same. I've always thought that the woman who looks at her through the car adds to the sense of isolation that Indila feels. I've heard an interview with her where she said the song talks about how sometimes we feel out of place and lost, even in familiar surroundings (Paris is her hometown). I think the line "Que d'esperance" should be translated as "What hope?" (meaning there is no hope) rather than "Nothing but hope". I'd love you to make more videos about her music; like you said, each song has its own story. Hope you're fit and well!

She has such a beautiful, emotional voice. The music is a bit more on the pop side than I like, but I could look past that just to hear her great voice. I love that you are bringing attention to depression and suicide. it's such a serious subject that a lot of people don't talk about. Sorry to hear about the pain you are going through...I hope it heals quickly. Cheers!

This song speaks about reject and racism too! Very strong song. This France she loved so much, but this "sweet" suffering...She was born in France, but France doesn't recognize her as french woman. This is present in her pain Hope you will get fantastically well as soon as possible!! ;-)

This is one of 3 songs interconnected The first one is : "Parle a ta tete" . At the end, we see a door and a job offer. At the beginning of " Derniere danse" we see the same door. At the end of "derniere danse" a piece of paper ( or a picture) is blowing in the wind. At the beginning of " love story" the piece of paper land on the desk of a child.

Indila was my intro into French music and omg the first time I herd her voice I fell in love and been listening to her ever sense I have a whole playlist of indila’s songs check out the playlist if you want my only regret is not discovering her sooner

Uh, I have heard this one before, but I cannot place where. I think the idea of the song and the video might be about feeling ignored, rejected, unseen, like an outsider, maybe not being able to connect or explain what you are going through, which could fit what someone under a depression feels like. Anyway, lovely voice she has.
