I swear all these new hair style techniques make me so proud to be a black woman and other black women. Like... we are so unique, so smart. I don't give a damn if people call us ghetto for wearing weave and braids because they're the same ones to wear it the week after. We are truly beautiful. #blackgirlmagic
Siobhan Zoe 😂😂😂😂 @ Struggle hair game. That's a good one. I do hair for a living, but I can't do my own hair. To be honest I don't like to. I will spend hours doing other people hair and I have the nerve to be tender headed myself. And I'm 2 years natural. I am definitely a member😊
Stacee J. exactly. it was irritating trying to find someone to braid my hair. I used to braid my own but it's not the same as me braiding someone elses
Jazz Nicole this is amazing, truly, dearly lol. Do you think there could also be a better way for crocheting straight or curly hair? I really wanted to crochet my hair for my cousins wedding but I DESPISE being able to see part of the cornrow in the front. Any Suggestions? If not I'll just stick with this method 💚💙💚 Thanks in advance!
Rhema Williams the only thing I can think of is using rubber bands to section the hair and crochet the loose curly or straight hair under the rubber band as a base
I wanted to let you know how much this video helped me. I really wasn't sure I could do the crochet braids at first. I kept practicing using different types of hair and now I no longer go to the salon and spend $150 to get individuals. I have received lots of compliments on my braids and I have you to thank for it! :-)
guuuuuurl u is doin it. and I bet they ain't heavy. ok for real I am shouting and beating a tambourine. All praises to the Most High for giving you this wisdom and for you dropping the knowledge to other sisters. Thank you. sooo much.
Omg girl you saved my life. I suck at cornrows but box braids I can do and this crochet method just saved hours of my life with the actual box braids in the salon. I'll be going away to college and this right here is going to be my life lol thanks
Im convinced that you are the smartest woman alive, I did the locs with your method & with the same brand of hair too and they came out amazing, Me and everyone else loves them on me so much.
You have started a revolution. here I was thinking about getting crochet twists but didn't want to have the cornrows look. I looked everywhere for someone who did it without the cornrows. I gave up. 2 weeks later here you come...saving all our lives. Thank you!

...You are a genius. I can't cornrow to save my life and my mom is forever fussin at me whenever I ask her to cornrow my hair for crochet braid styles. I will definitely try this. Thanks for sharing!

GURRRL U WAS PREACHIN IN THE BEGINNIN. i hated when i just got my box braids done and i just wanted to cry. i couldn't put it up in a ponytail until two weeks later. and if the wind blew a certain way..i could just die
Everytime I see one of the vids you have that Suzy color on your nails I swoon. I usually put a matte top coat on it and it's one of my fave manis for the fall. Love your videos. Definitely helping go natural. Thank you

You are my savior!🙌🏾😘 Having natural 4b/4c hair and doing crochet or original method based hairstyles are HARD with our frizzy curls popping out every which way, THANK YOU! 💕💝
Oh my gosh, you're a genius!! It's so simple, yet I never thought of it!!! Thank you for always being so innovative and taking the time to share your new techniques with us. I have used a bunch of your videos for my hair and on other people. I'm definitely subscribing to your channel. Keep up the great work!!
Lovely makeup. this method is so awesome. I have baby locs and don't want to stress them by Braiding them too tight. this is perfect for adding some temporary length
I did my hair like this but since my hair is short I braided and then folded my hair in half and then crocheted the braid in ...my braids were smaller tho!! But I def enjoyed this video!!
Thank you girl ! I was just thinking about doing this because I hate how it looks when people have so many crochet braids in their hair to cover up the whole cornrow. This is cute. Do you have one for twists? Or do you think it will work the same way?
