Oh my goodness, you went to Lombok? - I went there a couple of times. Amazing island, amazing people, lovely masjids, amazing beaches, fantastic waterfalls, incredible landscapes etc...and I am going there again this summer insha'allah. Personally my 2 favourite Muslim countries that I been to (and I have seen many) are Malaysia and Indonesia...with Maldives next. I've been to Bali as well and in all honesty I actually loved Lombok much more
We totally agree. Such an amazing island filled with beauty 🥰 and the people are just the best! Snap our two fav so far is also Malaysia and Indonesia - I still haven’t been to the Maldives yet …
@@FieldofVisions Malaysia is the best country for British Muslims like us for many reasons, not Turkey or any of the Arab speaking countries or Pakistan. Indonesia is amazing but many people don't speak much English although I did come across many Balinese people speaking decent English. Try and do the 2 day camping trip to Mount Rinjani in Lombok - this is one hell of an experience and highly recommended if you are all fit enough (preferably after Eid, if time).. Maldives is stunning, only for a beach holiday though.
Hope you’re having a great time . I’m not Muslim but was in Morocco once at Ramadan . At sunset there was loads tables were put out in the main square with lots of food . I also didn’t eat during The day ( I did drink water as I’m English and it was very hot and I was not used to it !) ❤
I’ve experienced Ramadan in Jakarta. Malls were open. You can easily eat anywhere and anytime without difficulty. Nobody would tell you about restrictions. That’s how open Indonesia is….
