Yes you can bring gold from Bali but under limits which you check at airport when you reach. Also, Bali is not famous for gold. Dubai is famous for this. No there is no scam, go to big shops in Denpasar there is gold Market. If you have time then you can apply for niyo global card there is no transaction charge on this. Other bank charge around 177 rs per 10k rs withdrawal. I don’t like to keep much cash while travelling.
