when i was a kid my brother and i had a dream to have our own video game company. We don't talk much these days but I always remember all the different JRPG-influenced storylines we would create and act out. When we played pretend there were turn-based random battles 😆
Wait a second... I've been here before in a dream! The room continues to the right and there's another pool, and there were purplish-red orbs hovering over the second pool. I had that dream probably 20 years ago at this point.
I’ve fallen asleep to this mix so many times it’s becoming a problem I think if I heard this mix on the radio that I have been conditioned enough that I’d fall asleep at the wheel lol
"Indoor pool cavern" is a very specific emotion that i cant quite put my finger on. Its definitely something ive seen alot in my dreams throughout my life
Holy crap, this brings back so many nostalgic computer and videogame memories of the 90s. It immediately reminded me of Everquest on PC, Turok and Mario 64 on the N64 and FF7 on PSX. Beautiful.
@@deepseacurrent As long as vaporwave evolves into different eras or even atmospheres across them, we will never run out of content. I'm yet to see a Y2K/Post 9/11 related vaporwave.

I keep forgetting vapourwave exists, but it's one of those things I feel an instant wave of happiness and calm everytime I rediscover it. Accompanies with that pang of nostalgia and sehnsucht. And what are they without the visuals! I wanna go to the indoor pool cavern... I know I'll forget all stress and sadness there.
Words cannot express how much I love Pinot Noir. Because of this playlist I am so happy to have found it and listen to the album the song came from by Eyeliner. I plan on buying that beautiful blue vinyl and must say this playlist always has me coming back for not just Noir, but all the little cogs that mesh together in this piece of artwork. Someday, I want to model an indoor pool cavern inside my home just like this.... My soul goes out to you.
I'm not the only one who's seen this right? A small calm pool, you can tell it's inside because you can hear the echos from the walls, the light reflecting on the pool shimmers across the darkness around you. When you look in, you can feel there's something alive, but you can't tell what it is. Like a fish that's been there hundreds of years and swims through the caverns below the pool, that the water carved out. A place of serenity, but also one that feels like it's brimming with potential. Is it just the music that makes us feel this way? Is this some imagery from our childhoods we're all just remembering? Or is this something more fundamental, more real? Is this a place we can get to?
This place is a fireplace in Dark Souls, it’s a break from the constant struggle. It’s a recess from madness and sorrow, it’s absent of the difficulties of human life. It’s just a cool green pool.
I would need authentic words to describe the feelings this playlist offers. Nostalgia? Quietude? Melancholy? Tranquil surrealism? I don’t know, but it’s certainly pleasant as hell!
Just wanted to tell you I love this video, watched it probably about 20 times. The atmosphere you created with just a simple gif and some music is amazing.... I could spend a lifetime in the story my brain created from it
that makes me so happy to hear :) I try to invoke certain nostalgic feelings I guess would be the best way to put it, like maybe we've been to these places physically, or maybe only in our dreams and/or imagination
