‪@RoamingLost‬ was created on a trip to Iceland. First, as just a blog to document and share the trip, but evolving into something much more. Not only creating content for clients, but to also bring the community together of things he loves.
Roaming Lost's owner, John Kingston, grew up in New Hampshire, where he spent all his free time being outdoors. He is currently based out of Southern California, but spends most of his time traveling the country and capturing authentic moments.

My Background: I am a former Special Forces SGM that started my career as an 11B or basic infantryman, and became a Special Forces 18B weapons specialist and served 9 combat rotations overseas. I served as a Sniper, Assaulter, JTAC, TSE expert, Free Fall jumpmaster and more.
I served in 3rd SFG, 10th SFG, USASOC, 19th SFG, and the CIA as a GRS officer protecting Case Officers overseas. I have a Bachelors degree in Homeland Security/Crisis Management and I appreciate you all tuning in!

This is pretty sweet, I'm starting to make these type campers as a side project for my business as well as mobile game prep freezers. In today's lifestyles being mobile just makes sense, I enjoyed camper life with my wife and two kids for about two years.

Thank you for sharing your amazing home with all of us... great set up. As the Nation keeps going in this direction, I keep thinking about some sort of "bug-out" vehicle. Yours is functional and utilitarian, while still looking a bit recreational. Grey man style 👍

@@seanhayes1965 mm yeah the worst area of Chicago is more dangerous than the same in Los Angeles but not sure if it’s any “better” especially bordering mexico also we don’t have any natural water supply and a far weaker grid.

Buy a couple, few, 1 acre off grid properties. Install a 4 chamber, 55gallon plastic drum septic with leech. In case of fall out, natural disaster, regional violence.

Love that magnet wall idea. I've been living the mobile life for 2 years now and it's always interesting finding solutions for storage and managing your stuff. What did you use for the metal backing plate? Or did your camper just conveniently has a magnetic surface there?

What kind of fuel mileage are you getting with this kind of setup .. I ask because I drove over the road for a long time, and thought that using a bobtail semi without adding a trailer, you don't fall into the DOT regulations, and I think you would potentially have a lot more flexibility to create a custom living quarters without taking anything away from fuel mileage etc .. without hauling a load, I think you could likely get better than 10 mpg .. I had an old F-250 that got 8 mpg without any extra weight .. just curious .. thanks !!!
