Forgive me for being slightly inappropriate, however, INTIMACY can be one of the best ways to induce labor. Also, remaining as stress free as possible, meditation and pregnancy yoga are 2 great ways to relieve stress, lots of baths and essential oils, such as prim rose as you mentioned before. Try to wait it out as long as possible, elliott will come into this world when he is good and ready!!!!! You are in my prayers! Love you and your family so so so much!!!!! xoxoxo

Just a tip, try Primrose oil, it's a natural supplement you can either swallow it like a regular capsule or, not to get too graphic, you can puncture a hole in the capsule and then insert it. This creates lubrication and can minimize any tearing. A lot of midwives recommend it after you were 36 weeks pregnant. I did it and I had no tearing whatsoever and did not need any stitches.

When I was 38 w and 6 d pregnant my doctor decided to set an induction date for March 29 when I was 41 weeks pregnant and that crushed me as I wanted to go into labor naturally. And everybody was telling me all these things to do to going to labor naturally and I ended up not doing any of them I just left it up to God and ask him every day please please let this baby come out! And that Friday when I was 39 w and 2 d pregnant I went into labor naturally and had a very short 12 hour labor and welcomed my first baby boy on march 18! Just keep praying girl!!

Feel funny typing this, but nipple stimulation was what the doctor told me.

Nipple stimulation naturally produces oxytocin (not to be confused with OxyContin.) Oxytocin (a drug version) is what's in Pitocin that they use to induce labor at the hospital. Sooo.... regular nipple stimulation, producing the natural oxytocin in your body can get labor going. My doctor recommended that, and I went into labor on my own with all 3 of my pregnancies. Could be what got me going, could be coincidence...Really nothing is a sure thing, but DEFINITELY give this one a try. Besides help from my husband, I actually hooked myself up to my breast pump for a little bit a few times a day. Good luck to you and Congrats!!

My daughter was two days late and I did do the nipple stimulation and I went into labor that night. I don't know if it was connected but she got here. You are stunning by the way!

The whole Butler family has made me realize how much I'd absolutely LOVE LOVE...LOVE (yes that much) to go to Yosemite especially in the early fall months!!

Good luck Carlie! When I was pregnant with my second I tried everything! I even had 3 membrane sweeps. I had prodromal labor on and off for a week straight! I was miserable and I woke my husband thinking that this was finally it, but my labors would just stop. Finally my midwife and I decided it was best to break my water to help things along. I labored for 10 hours after that and she born all natural. So hoping something works for you!! Love you guys!

Most women don't realize that full term is naturally 38-42 weeks. Very few babies come on the due date at 40 weeks! Patience is difficult, but worth it to let nature take its course. I had to be induced for a 42 1/2 week pregnancy and it wasn't pretty!

I'd suggest just taking it easy and relaxing while you still have the time. I tried absolutely everything and I still went 10 days over with my second baby and by then I was exhausted because I had been trying so hard to get him out. Can't wait to see baby boy :) love you guys!

Hey Carlie red raspberry leaf tea is also an option I don't think it will induce labor but it does help with the labor. I took it several weeks before my due date and had a good labor.

Nothing worked for me to induce except having my membranes swept right before my due date, thought nothing was going to happen- went into labor the next day. I also walked right after they were swept like all day, I think that really helped!

Get fresh pineapple and make a smoothie with just water and sugar, if you can do lunges or squats (don't try to do them alone, and sex. I did this and woke up with cramping went to the restroom and my mucous plug came out and I went into labor!:)

Sorry, no tips from me. My doctor did a stretch and sweep (not sure what you called it in one of your previous videos) because my blood pressure was getting high. Went for a walk then BOOM my water broke about 4 hours later.

Find a Footzone practitioner in your area. I know there are tons of them in southern ID. They will know how to naturally help your body get ready, and if your body is ready it can jump start labor. And it's a nice reset for your body. Good luck.

My parents drove on a bumpy road then had a squirt gun fight (I was born in August so it was hot) to induce labor with me. My uncle also had my mom jogging up and down the drive way after eating fried chicken and my aunt suggests having sex. I've also heard eating spicy food can do it too. Good luck and stay healthy!

Along with the other people who suggested, membrane sweep!! It helped kick start things with me.. But of course I still got pitocin because I was just young and didn't know what was really going on. (Had just turned 20) this time around I know what's going on more!! It makes me more excited. Only 24 more weeks to go for me lol

A specific Chiropractic adjustment can help labour along. My husband is a chiropractor and he knows a specific adjustment to help. Too bad you don't live by me here in Canada! Good luck with your labour ( Yes...we spell Labour this way in Canada) hehehe Also my daughter's mother in law says walking up hill helps alot. just a thought!

there are different massages you can do to help induce labor there are pressure points on the feet and I think the back I'm not quite sure.
