I thought this was the Mandela effect, I remember seeing this trailer years ago

Looks like a Planetary Annihilation mod with elements of Factorio. I love the Planetary Annihilation, Supcom and Total Annihilation. Still, the trucks at 1:53 makes me wonder how the economy will work.

Looking to support this game via early access via steam and not kickstarter :) Hopefully in 30 days you will post more info on that.

Looks like a DLC for Plannetary Annihilation. The conveyors between the buildings don't justify a new full price game.

Could you please label this correctly. This is not a "pre alpha visualization." This is a concept trailer, plain and simple. Aside from that, it looks good. I can't wait for a game play trailer.

Not sure who does your PR but what sort of bubble do you have to be in to think this is going to sit well with people? Did no one put their hand up and say this would be a bad idea? NO ONE? I get your in the business to make money but trying to wring every penny of people doesn't fill anyone with confidence. Hopefully the maps in this won't feel like perched on a golfball. Also your 1k, 2k and 10k insane... "here is 10k now can i please give you some ideas for your game?" Wait what? I hope your not letting some fucking random shoehorn ideas into the game this late in the stage and if you aren't then why the hell are you taking 10k off them? Absolute insanity.

At this point of so many unfinished projects, pledge for a game with no demo is a coin toss.

Building a factorio factory in every run is a complete chore of a game.

IA could be a sleeper hit. My main worry is the complexity might require an IQ of 165 and the reflexes of a squirrel.

I'll keep the cash in my pocket, wait till it's released and then look at reviews to see it's worth it or not. It sucks that RTS games have mostly gone by the wayside. Everyone more focused on FPS and/or Battle Royale... as if there aren't enough games like those. The last time I enjoyed a good RTS... way back with the Supreme Commander series and where has that company vanished too? Other than that... I did enjoy Tiberium Wars. So one company that doesn't exist and another that basically gave up on RTS games.

Ehh I'll stick to BAR or beyond all reason for my total annihilation and supreme commander fix. Its free and playable. But i'll keep an eye on this.

I won't lie, I don't have a *whole* lot of confidence after the fiasco that was the initial release of PA However, this game is too cool an idea, and entirely too up my alley to miss out on. I'll back this, and really wish you the best that this game can live up to its full potential!

200k is not that much... why are you doing a kickstarter for that? Is it to show an investor that there is interest in the game? Or do you need a tiny bit of money to get over the finish line? This seems insanely suspicious.

I commend their use of Kickstarter, not wanting to be tied to a publisher, but a Pirate Software's advice might help with contracts.

Hmmm. I have to say i didnt super enjoy planetary annihilation. I dont know if it had to do with the art style or the scale or the space. Or what quite put me off. It may of been the limited type of units and visuals... That said This looks like it will be different and offer a different type of gameplay. How long is the campaign going for? (kinda holding onto funds at the momment we got a fire 2.5 miles to our west and while we got 20% containment dont want to be sending out money i might need)

I love Factorio and I love TA and RTS, but I'll only get this game if it has robust competitive and co-op multiplayer. What's the plan for this multiplayer wise?

Instead of refining a good concept with Planetary Annihalation with better singleplayer, more factions and maybe refining it further... this. This is disappointing, I was on the fence about 9-bit Armies, but looks like I'm spending my money there for a proper RTS.

Me and my friend said thats cool thet they are making redesign of mechanics in game from PA to IA but we both stated its kinda not worth buying since we both own factorio wich we can heavily mod and make something like that

This is the same company that until this day offers, in many game stores, the unfinished Planetary Annihilation as if it was a finished game instead of a pre-alpha where not even the saving & load functionality works. Let's not forget. Do not trust them, they will not deliver what they promised.

Feels weird that the lowest tier is just the game with nothing extra for 30$. Since that will very likely gonna be the price of IA, it's a smarter decision to just buy the game at release when you know whether it's actualy good. Even just a comander skin or anything for that matter would have went a long way.

So you already raised $820k dollar on another crowdfunding site, granted that one had a minimum pledge amount of $500 (site limitation, not the devs fault) and are now starting another Kickstarter campaign for it after the last one ended? Good thing the different tiers don't include any paywalled game content though so thats a big plus. The game certainly looks very interesting but that double dipping move makes me honestly a bit suspicious.

I enjoyed planetary annihilation. Awesome game, but Dont give money to this kickstarter scam. They should have made more than enough money with the succes of PA. Huge redflags are shown by this company.

The lack of management in RTS games and the lack of threats in Automation games is what always made those genres boring for me. Putting them together in a miltiary-industrial complex simulator seems to fix that. Looks awesome, I also like the 90s vibe of this trailer!

Is Art director even needed anymore. Yall have used the same assets in three games now, his work seems done haha

Changing your company's name again doesn't stop me from recognizing the names and faces of those in charge. For the record, I like the idea of this game. I genuinely hope it becomes a hit, but I can not and will not be a backer for these people ever again. Not for a kickstarter, nor for any early access game. There's just too much negative history and bad blood. P.S. This post was originally a lot longer until I thought better of it and opted to exercise restraint.

As a backer of Planetary Annihilation I'm definitely not backing this. Industrial Annihilation will probably be just another way for these devs to f over their community. Again.

Can somebody let me know if I'm missing something here. Are these not the same guys that made the total Annihilation game as well as the Planetary Annihilation game? If these are indeed the same guys, why are they on Kickstarter asking for crowdfunding for yet another one of their projects? This is not how crowdfunding is supposed to work turn on both of their previous games were moderate successes, the point of crowdfunding is to get you started, not so you can pocket every last penny from every one of your projects and then expect the crowdfunding community to fund your next projects. Not to mention a kind of looks like it's the same game as the last two.🤷‍♂️

I was expecting the KS pitch to include further details about the game mechanics and this why my first reaction is not to pledge. Basically this KS video is a bit too much a copy/paste from the original video we got 9 months ago. Guys we definitely need more information about this game. After 9 months since original anouncement this KS video looks like rushed without any serious additional content about the game itself. The vision is a bit too much generic. I can't believe you've not elaborated further the game mechanics. Make me excited about your game if you want me to pledge. I understand making games cost lots of money. But i need more.

Beyond all reason takes the cake on this genre and it’s free. PA was good but these devs lost all credibility when they released PA: Titans - Gave us what should’ve been a cheap DLC or add on and released it as its own game. Scummy business tactics and loss of credibility. There’s better options for free such as BAR that are actively in development. I’d buy this game but only once it’s fully released

if you share like 20 times the amount of information we have right now about the game and its state you will also gain a lot more trust and more money. how come we only have 3 minutes of gameplay after all this time

Oh boy, here we go again. Another Kickstarter campaign for these guys ... 🤦‍♂ I just need to say it, this sounds like a terrible idea. Factory/Resource management games are insanely complex and difficult, and Planetary Annihilation can be more chaotic than all other RTS games combined because you have a full star system to keep an eye for. The combination of those two genres will be like juggling glasses full of acid on a trampoline attached to the rollercoaster cart. No thank you. I would be curious on how are you going to solve the merging of these two genres to create good gameplay but this looks shady AF. Human Resources looked far more promising than this guys, a shame you were so greedy back then and announced another Kickstarter project before finalizing Planetary Annihilation. You could have used the money from Planetary Annihilation to make Human Resources and we'll all have a great game for the ages, but here we are 10 years later trying to push another shady project trough crowd funding. I don't know the full story but it look shady AF, sorry. "The power of Unreal Engine 5" Come on! You are using 10 year old assets in a demo that doesn't look good at all and you brag about graphics. Jesus guys...

Why do I have the feeling this will fall flat on its face. Those two genres are incredibly difficult to merge if you want create something that is actually fun. PA had incredible poor retention. So I wish you the best of luck, you'll need it.

I spotted some trucks in the trailer; if you have to truck resources back to your base from remote locations, I think that’s a really cool improvement to the game. Opens up avenues to disrupt supply lines besides just hitting the metal nodes. It would be REALLY cool if there was a way to collect the resources from destroyed trucks to use for yourself.

after the debacle of the last planetary annihilation I will stay far away until I see it on steam with reviews.

This is just a 3D version of Mindustry, and that one is free to play in Android.

Also I wish we got Human Resources instead ... The idea was so good.
