MATERIALS & TOOLS
The basics:
✂ The designs print on 160gsm / 60LB cover paper (or in that weight area)
✂ Scissors amzn.to/2HNUv2R
✂ Double sided tape and/or glue)
✂ Scoring tool (or empty pen)
✂ Ruler (I use this one amzn.to/3Iiz1Ly)
✂ Needle & thread
✂ Awl or hole punching tool
✂ Ribbon
✂ Eyelet + eyelet setting tool
Optional tools that make things a bit easier (and fancier)
✂ Silhouette Spatula amzn.to/3tMu6M1
✂ Scoring Board
✂ Bone folder
✂ Paper trimmer amzn.to/3ytZlx6
✂ Ribbon end crimps/clamps + jump rings + beads (I used gears)
✂ Ink & ink blending tool
✂ Corner rounder punch

Love Tinne’s work and have made a few purchases at her Etsy shop over the last several years. Being on a fixed income is not fun so I scrimp and save for a number of months to make purchases when I can. So, you are not alone by any stretch of the imagination when it comes to being a bit embarrassed. I love it that you incorporate jewelry-making skills in your papercrafting! I have loads of leftover jewelry-making supplies including end clamps, myself. Your kits are always so inspiring about ways to use them. Think I might try this folio design idea with the Autumn Flowers papers as well; I can use these base pieces as a template and then make both folios. 🥰 "Clamping," btw, is a perfectly good English word. 😘

Another great folio tutorial, Tinne! These projects are my favorites; not too complicated and so satisfying when completed. Btw, how thick is the embroidery string you're using? I only ever find the really thin type that unravels really quick.
