I am an automotive refinisher by trade but I am working here in the West Texas oil field paining pipelines usinga binks 2100 pressure pot spraygun, you laid it out pretty nice 👍
I can't believe you posted this one but I appreciate your honesty. You dusted the whole thing when your air popped off but shit happens. My technique is very different from yours but I spray out of a 2.5 gallon pressure pot.
Only thing I would’ve done differently is if both sides are the same color, I would’ve put a light coat on one side, done the same on the other side, then come back and gloss it out on both sides.
seems to be virtually the same process as collision repair painting. im gonna be getting into an industrial paint shop; any tips or thoughts? wondering about paint codes & stuff
start of as a labourer at a paint workshop or see what training you can do depending what country your in, its a messy job especially on the blasting side of things. the money is offshore, or big contracts having crane qualifications, cherry picker, scissor lift, forklift etc will help
What in the world did I just watch? Is this your first day? I have never seen such inconsistent hand movements while spraying in my life. Finish quality must not matter at all.
