I know how you feel because the first time I listened to this track I cried. I remember later I searched on SM to see if his D12 bros reacted to it. They agreed that they were hurt that he felt D12 was over but that Em never used them and that they were grateful for what he did for them, so they didn't understand why he felt guilty. Though Bizz said that the only time they felt really stranded was the time Em was depressed and on the worst of his addiction but they never hold it against him, although he wasn't surprised if Em blamed himself for shit that wasn't his fault because he always was super hard on himself.

Yea it wasn't Eminem's fault fans (for the most part) always saw D12 as his group and not a union of rappers. He did everything he could but Proof died and Em was in the worst time of his depression and addiction around the same time and he couldn't be there for them and I think that even if D12 did make a new album, new fans (who aren't og D12 fans) would still think it's Eminems group which is sad because they were all so good.

I'm a tough guy, I don't break very easy. But the very first time I heard "but D12 is over" I cried. That group has helped me through so many dark times in my childhood. And I've always hoped for them to get back together. I don't think Deshaun would have wanted them to fall apart. They survived when carnell died. *I apologize if I spelled his name wrong*

Searching For Jerry Garcia is so slept on it literally pisses me off.....like legitimately....thank you for raising this subject and how Proof put out a fire album solo....thats what Em wanted from them all.....but the Proof album is dark....like you can tell from the material he wasn't coping well with life's many twists and turns....and even tried to put Purple Gang on in the process.....the true D Rap President.....its just clear.....look at Obies career since his cousin Proof passed away....its like in the D.....he was Biggie or Pac....the city took it hard....excellent comment....and I'll also admit WU wasn't the same after ODB passed......human spirits bigger than the lyrics.....RIP to both souls

Dude that weather scheme gets me every time...the climate is starting to shift, raining cats and dogs, tiny drops, little drips, reign(rain) is over, hardly be missed(mist) like wtf, that sht is crazy, lol. Also, I know people have a gripe with his singing on hooks, but he's been doing it since the SSLP and he's only gotten better imo. When he puts this much emotion behind it, I don't care, it works.

This one gets me. He husband died very suddenly, tragically. His group was solid since he was born, brothers to me since we were teens, godfathers to our kids. When he died, everyone fell. The guys felt seeing and and the kids grieve was too hard for them (try living it), so they avoided us because it was painful. Trying to grieve my world shattered and get the kids through hell, while suddenly I learned when it counted that strong support was an illusion. I'm still shocked I'm still standing because I was so ready to join him, never knowing life without him, but I knew he was counting on me to do what he couldn't do for our babies. He never let me down so I couldn't let him down, holding on with all I have. Still feel guilty living what was stolen from him. A death like than can change everything you know. Em explained it well, as always.

Ima just reiterate most of the previous comments.....I LOVE the approach to careful who you carry on the way up, cuz eventually you'll end up running back into them all......BUT....when he said D12 is Over......that Hurt My Heart 4real.....I looked at D12 as a way to get more Em in between Solo projects with exceptional Emcees on everything.....Devils Night is classic album IMO.....D12 World was different....I guess kinda like Slaughterhouse in hindsight, you could see things weren't rolling as smoothly then.......THEN....PROOF Died and I didn't know at the tyme, but it did change everything.....EM with his problems...couldn't shoulder and the Royce beef didn't leave an option for another 6th member.....Bugs....Then Em....Royce woulda been perfect, but it just didn't go like that.....this song hurt me FRFR......Love Always To D12....my favorite Rap Group of all Tyme.....well Bone of course....but D12 was just different.....The D got them Spitters.....Pause
