SO glad you found this art, loopstation specifically. Saro is considered by many to be the greatest loopstation artist yet. He won the only two competitions he competed in, and only lost one judges vote through all of the battles he was in. Always a pleasure to see someone else witness greatness!!

Funny fact: Mb14 in second round says: My loops are still mest up. It's about his previous battle vs Slizzzer in the 1/4 final. Then his loopstation turned off in the middle of the second round (Check it too(: It's awesome)

Love the beatbox community and scene so much but cant beatbox for shit haha, just watch everything. Watching the old stuff is amazing cause its got some of the alltime greats and shows where it started (this isnt even thaat old) But check out some of the new stuff, even since Gbb19 beatbox leveled up so much. Try looking at the Gbb20 and 21 wildcards for Solo and loop, Gbb20 never happened because of the pandemic but coming up this years the winners for both wildcard competitions will be competing soon in Gbb21 and everything leveled up so much. Especially Loop with extra devices for audio mastered its gotten insane

The guy in the crowd they always show on the camera that you mentioned in the beginning… His name is BBK. He is a professional beat boxer as well, and he’s always in the crowd, and in all of these videos, they always find him and show him 8:32 because he always makes the funniest faces during these shows. 🤪 You can even find the compilation videos on RU-vid of him and his funny faces lol

I'd also recommend to try and stay away from compilations and stick to showcases or vs battles. Will kind of ruin some content you could do because the battles are really good. They go against each other and have some digs every once in a while at each other, so seeing the compilations will leave you lacking in some context. These are set up like the old school rap battles though and they will be dissing each other, pretty great stuff and there are so many talented guys and girls out there. A lot of them can really sing too.
