I saw an interview with token talking about the racism in hip hop where white rappers get more attention. I think the reason he always mentions em is his way of trying to balance the scales. I think he is still a fan of em as well but wants to shout out other rappers. Where he is a white rapper as well. He is a real good dude and always seems to be conscious of the impact of each word he says.
