What I love is that Keisuke does gloat at the supposed inexperience of the Eight-Six driver but actually shows concern that he’s gonna hit the barrier and seriously injure or kill himself, a subtle hint that the Takahasi brothers aren’t gonna be Antagonists of the series, in fact I kinda like (with the odd exception here and there) that their isn’t really a bad guy to the series, people passionate about the cars and the racing, you get the jerks such as those who mocked Itsukis Eight-Five, but even Team Emperor just wanted to be the best by the rules of the game, the most villainous thing they did was mock the losing team by taking their stickers, their leader didn’t mock Takami when his engine went.

As dopey as english Keisuke's voice is, he has way more energy than the original japanese VA for this scene (as well as any of the other dubs), which imo fits much better. Also thanks for the subs lol
@@user-jm8ri8kb4k Too bad we are not getting 5th Stage (Final too ofc) dubbed. Maybe with help of MF Ghost anime there comes a demand, but will be off due to VA selection possibly ending up very different since it has been long time from 4th Stage dub.

His right hand countersteer was just a set up for the left hand corner...That drift was flawless! Only someone who knows this road like the back of his hand could of pulled it off. 😁😁
Well, "kansei dorifto" is actually Japanese for "inertia drift" (also known as "countersteer") so it's expected when the English dub/subtitles are a thing.
