I knew I wasn't the only one! I also prefer to start off evil and then, when Trish dies, I play good for the remainder of Infamous 1 and go completely good in Infamous 2. I do this because when Cole destroys the Ray Sphere and then talks to Kessler, he talks as if he is repenting for his mentality earlier; *"Yeah, well I'm not like you. It took me awhile but I finally realized that this isn't about me, about what I want. Not anymore. It's about keeping this city safe. And once you're dead, no one will ever threaten it again."* Also, in Infamous 2, people always refer to him as the "Demon of Empire City", regardless of your karma in the game. So in this version, it makes more sense that they called him that because he committed evil deeds for the majority of his time in Empire City. Plus, the city had been destroyed the month after he turned good, so he was an unsung hero in that regard since he never had enough time to create a new image for himself in the eyes of Empire City. All of this adds more meaning to the good ending: *"I thought my friend was going to go down as an unsung hero, but here in New Marais, they knew what he had done for him. Who'd a guessed that the "Demon of Empire City" would become the patron saint of New Marais."*
@@RitikBenipal Some of the evil dialogue almost sounds like the game never had a karma system at first but was added later on just to add more to the story, for example, the one's you just mentioned sounded like Cole was a selfish prick in the beginning of the game but later on he realizes that it's just more than him and he repents his sins by destroying the Ray Sphere.
Sheng Xu or you can play through the story as a good guy but then as a twist, Trish's death enrages Cole and he becomes a madman, then you kill everyone in the city and get Infamous rank.
Maybe it's just me, but I enjoyed being evil in the first game more than in the second game. The second game had so many emotions in it. I actually felt bad being evil in the second game. I remember sitting there going "wtf am I doing?" I switched my karma at the end of the second game.
Damn, this was the first game were I was fully immersed with the morality of the characters. Their choices, desires, and consequences. InFamous will always be GOAT to me.
You know that was actually Sucker Punch's original plan, to have the Evil Karma ending of Infamous 2 be Canon, but when they reviewed the trophy data, they saw that more people chose the Good Karma ending, so they made that Canon instead
@@texasgent4694 Terible decision, it could´ve been so different from the usual super hero stories we normally get ... hopefully they go back on their decision, but I doubt it since we already got a sequel for the good karma ending
the Black-Crimson lightning is too damn epic, I wish they had it in inFamous 2. the Lightning has the same color as the Getsuga Tenshou [Tensa Zangetsu version] from Bleach, I love that attack.
18:43 XD kessler just tricked him and punished him for being such an jerk. that moment maked me laugh because i was imaginating kessler saying: GEEET DUNKED OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
When I first started infamous ideas a thug then became a guardian. Soon after that I became a champion then hero, then I saw this video. I quickly went to the sofa and opens the game the I kicked a lot of pedestrian asses the im infamous in about 10 minutes
I prefer evil karma and the ending when you get the black electricity is op bro I might finely get infamous 2 I might be able to see the reapers outfits for coal so hope my dad really was able to get I for me and my brother
@@sheogorathmadgod9719 me too i don't like doing the bad karma things and then i feel bad when Trish hates you. Do that's why I play both games on good karma
Ali Ahmed If you mean what happens if you use the ray sphere while having EVIL karma then the same exact thing.. Using the Ray Sphere causes you to switch to Evil Cole or fills up your Evil karma meter.
0:54 I am so curious of hiw the sky wiuld look tommorow because it looks so weird and cursed. Is that at day ? Evening ? Idk but that gives me goosebumps.
O and being evil I more easy doing missions cuz you won't have to worried about killing people with evil you can go crazy and it's more strong then good karma
The ending in inFAMOUS 2 evil Is so sad to me it was sad because one of our partners dies I won't say wich cause of spoiler reasons but then I played good and it was sad too but I can't wait for ps4 and inFAMOUS second son
MaxAero I mean I wouldn’t put the voice for Cole in this game for infamous 2 it wouldn’t suit especially where Cole in infamous 2 looks like the voice actor who done his voice
Why do I keep getting unchanged karma? The only time I get good or bad karma is when it gives me the choice if I want to do good or bad will this effect me for getting the platinum ? I'm karma is at hero any advice?
