I used to dislike Riddim, then I started to love it (was my favorite subgenre in 2016-ish) and now I sort of "hate it" again. Don't get me wrong the sound design is amazing, but song shouldn't be composed only with basses and fx. As someone who used to love it I now perceive it just as free dopamine hits and lazy production - I am sorry. But that is just my opinion, enjoy whatever you enjoy guys.

@@eyylmao1032 there’s nothing wrong with not liking riddim music is subjective, it’s just gotten a little tiring seeing most songs in a genre have mixed or poor reception (on mcat) because it’s part of that genre and not because of other problems the song may have

Honestly, this gets repetitive really quickly, but I kind of adore how recognisable Infekt's signature style is. And certainly, the carrot character is cute. Edit (16/6/2024): Oh boy, there are some arguments in the replies section. Personally, I think Riddim, or Trench (aka the new Riddim name) music is sometimes good, like "Beams" by Infekt, which was adorable and special. However, for the majority of Riddim songs, they are straight up repetitive due to the same bass patterns in a song, which I don't like. I know it can be fun, but since I love seeing different variations and new things, I don't like Riddim that much and find it blatantly* boring sometimes. 🤷‍♂️ (*Blatantly: In a completely obvious and unsubtle way. (Google))

I still don't think the Disciple family is ready for the monstercat fan yet. As Infekt's sence of style isn't bad, it does kinda get a little boring in my opinion. The background voice is nothing really to do with the vibe of the song as the briddim drops are mediocre in my opinion. I'm sorry Infekt and disciple fans, I don't hate them, i am just not really a fan. Please forgive me!😢 6/10, wasn't a bad single but just meh!
