Thanx! The upper part went quite ok but noticed once again that I should be on skis a bit more often... On this season 5 hours in Finland and 2 days in Mürren before the race day so it is a bit too little when you compete in this beautiful "crazy" event... ;0)

How long is this course

@@Dennis-tf7xn It was almost the same track as 2020 and then it was 9,5km. Full length race track is 14,9km. If you check out my 2019 race run there you can see the rest of the track also (those missing 6,5km).

Not necessarily. Usually the downhillers are bigger guys and the technical racers aren’t as big, but sometimes a smaller guy will do well too in a speed event. It’s more dependent on skiing skill than size.

I would say that you need good skiing skills, some missing parts in your brain and the fastest ones are in really good condition😉

The people who have the ability to turn without scrubbing off speed, that's what it's all about.

@@raynardi7243 Ci sono tutti insieme 1850 concorrenti che gareggiano nello stesso giorno. Nella tua prima competizione il tuo numero di partenza è davvero grande. Se sei bravo, supererai diversi sciatori perché ogni 12 secondi c'è un nuovo corridore in pista. Il livello dei concorrenti varia molto. Ci sono buoni sciatori ma ce ne sono anche molti con abilità sciistiche piuttosto basse. Molti sciatori vengono solo per divertirsi perché questa gara è un grande evento in quel villaggio. Ogni modo, devi finire la tua corsa in un determinato tempo in cui puoi correre l'anno prossimo. ​@@raynardi7243 un livello per tutti. Alcuni sono buoni e veloci ma alcuni sono lentissimi, ma ci sono 1850 in totale e puoi credere che ci sono tanti diversi sciatori😮

@@AlfonsoMantero It is kind of slow. It would be fun for a fun race, but it doesn’t compare to the speed and jumps of a real DH.

@@keirfarnum6811 yes sure. And also not dangerous. What I was pointing out is that it's quite boring the slope in itself, since it's mostly a road.

It's 9,5km.
