I'm glad that you guys thought so! Even though I misplayed a few times intentionally. Can't have all of my tournament opponent's seeing ALL of my spice lol
That adamancipator/gem-knight duel was so degenerated. I loved every second of it. (And also the sudden but inevitable karmic bitchslap at the end with the meta duel)
@@Kloqdq it never truly died, it just got much less consistent due to the limit of master diamond, you needed to run de-fusion to make it work. The adamancapators made it more consistent again which is why it's "back".
@@Kloqdq I don't have a list unfortunately, bit there's probably something floating around on RU-vid. Yeah they look really fun to play, I just wish they weren't so expensive right now (well the main one)...
If you are wondering why the background is Yugioh The Movie is bc Inferno Tempest had a small cameo in the final fight that Anubis used to destroy all Yugi's and Kaiba's cards Note: The cameo is very brief and it takes a long time to pause it perfectly
ma man yes... good on you for listening to advice, and thanks for putting more spotlight on the day and time of the tournament and event... for me its early since my sleep schedule is a mess but hey if i wake up at that time i will tune in! hope for the best tomorrow and an even better tournament and event for you and everyone else!! :D if anything I will be looking at those youtube videos too :]
I built deck with Dark Banishing - Main focus being Necroface, Doomsday Horror - and lesser focus on Prometheus, with lot Grave Effects, with Chaos Zone, Soul Absorption and Inferno Tempest.
Hey MBT, big fan of your 10 minute testing videos, and I was hoping you could try out a deck I've been testing out. It's kind of a 60 card rock combo deck. Monsters: 3x Adamancipator Analyzer 3x Adamancipator Researcher 3x Adamancipator Seeker 3x Power Giant 3x Barrier Statue of the Drought 3x Block Golem 3x Alpha the Electromagnet Warrior 3x Beta the Electromagnet Warrior 2x Delta the Magnet Warrior 2x Gamma the Electromagnet Warrior 3x Beta the Magnet Warrior 2x Doki Doki 2x Rescue Rabbit 2x Gigantes 2x Psychic Wheeleder 1x Koa'ki Meiru Overload 1x Sentry Soldier of Stone 2x Block Dragon 2x Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior 1x Valkyrion the Magna Warrior 1x Megarock Dragon Spells: 3x Adamancipator Signs 3x Dark World Dealings 1x Card Destruction 1x Foolish Burial 1x Magnetic Field 1x Monster Reborn Reborn 1x Monster Reborn 1x World Legacy Succession 1x Living Fossil Extra Deck: 1x Crystron Halqifibrax 1x Union Carrier 1x Knightmare Phoenix 1x Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess 1x Number 68: Sanaphond the Sky Prison 1x Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star 1x Number 60: Dugares the Timeless 1x Gallant Granite 1x Gorgonic Guardian 1x Leviair the Sea Dragon 1x Naturia Beast 1x Adamancipator Risen - Dragite 1x Adamancipator Risen - Raptite 1x Adamancipator Risen - Leonite 1x Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon The main goal of the deck is to use the Adamancipators for dig for your Barrier Statue while building a board to protect it, such as with Gorgonic Guardian and Dingirsu. Leonite and Crystal Wing can probably be swapped out for a second Raptite and a Borrelsword if you'd like. I know this was a lot to read through, but the deck is definitely fun and worth a try.
I was eating chips but the legendary line of "They're using CDI to negate a necroface so they have cards left in deck and can OTK me! That's so heads-up!... Anyways here's mystic mine." I actually choked.
can you run this deck and then make your 15 side cards things like orochi etc to turn this into the typical gren maju deck for game 2... then they have to guess which version they'll come across for game 3 maybe? This way they fail to predict your strategy (slightly) going into game 2 and have to sort of coinflip into game 3.
Me: oh boy, I can’t wait to see what skit puts together for this dumb deck. *2 seconds into the video FUCK But on another point joseph, the commentary in this video was absolutely fantastic and hilarious, especially during the dragon link match
Ah yes, this deck.. weirdly funny memory with this deck, it taught me that Cyber Dragons can play through an inferno tempest since Cyberload and Rampage dragon needing 2+Cyber Dragon monsters exists
Banish is one of my favorite decks. It's amazing. In the hands of fate. But yes the deck is versatile and has no main strategy. So I play it depending on what happens.
How can I appreciate this or any deck you build when, called, ash blossom and other stabdard almost over played cards are always present in your decks? Sometimes you could be more unique but I get your point with these videos. Your getting the best out of whatever archetype your covering. And I check out a couple of the streams so I know you also try out alot of what people suggest but it doesn't make the cut as far as the final deck go. I just they would be showcased so we could see more unique stuff like this.
Why must mystic mine exist at all? Who was asking for it when they decided to released it? At this point I still feel like they just need to limit most of the good flood gates in the game and if they make new ones give it a steep cost to actually use them for a great flood gate
Try this list 3x necroface,desires,tempest,mine,demise,judgment,allure,maju,dogoran,trade in,bigfoot,lava golem,eater,orochi,extrava,2 dyamite,1 meta, 2 offering, 3 absorption,3 fader,3cyclone,1 one day of peace. Just sold it for 340 $$$$
With all due respect, I disagree. HUGE fan of Tombox, but his build's clearly an adapted version of the historical deck, not an optimized build to hit Inferno Tempest consistently. Battle Fader and Soul Absorption, for example, were famously good in old builds of the deck, because they bought you turns - but now that any competent board will include monster negation and hitting damage caps of 10k is trivial, neither card performs well at all. Aside from impractical card choices, however, Tom's build has the same problem most builds of Inferno Tempest Necroface do: it's confused. It's playing a whole host of Gren Maju enablers - GIzmek, Desires, Sarc - but these cards are actively BAD for your Inferno Tempest lines. Activate one Desires and you'll never deck your opponent before they deck you. The ONLY thing they do is make Maju big - and if that's your aim, why not play a more focused Maju build? Why devote huge portions of deckspace to a wincon you have no intention of resolving? Tom's deck explanations follow this through-line - simultaneously talking about how they'll be getting one-punched post-Tempest resolution and fader's needed to slow down the game, but forgetting that Maju's usually out of the picture if you're banishing all your monsters. The sad truth about this boring deck is that the things that make Gren Maju good are incompatible with Inferno Tempest. No matter how cool tempest is, if it doesn't deck the opponent it is incapable of dismantling any reasonable T1 setup. Your best bet is to go all-in on Mystic Mine for the post-banish stage of the game, not to play enablers like Gizmek hoping you open Maju AND Gizmek AND Tempest AND Eater AND your opponent's T1 board doesn't have effect negation.
@@MBTYuGiOh your explanation was awesome to read, & something to consider while I try and optimize the deck to the point of breaking the entirety of my opponents will to play yugioh. (Also want to throw out there that im a fan of your content, just resonated with tomboxs build more at its surface level :))
