The concepts with bandages reminds me of egyptian mummies

Can we talk about about infinite being in the olimpic games? Imagine him dancing with the string thing elegantly while his theme song plays The edge

I always liked the concept designs, but I think Infinite’s more sleeker and intentionally weird-looking design works the best for him.

The concept art with Infinite's cracked up mask is the best. Idk why because it gives me MCU Ultron's 1st phase vibes. No strings attached!

In the first bit of concept art you talk about, he's a buffalo. Buffalo have the large amount of fur on their neck and head, and their tails are thin with the tuft at the end. Bulls lack that additional fur in those areas.

Honestly if they kept the bandaged look for Infinite's final design it would make Infinite's hatred for Shadow more understandable like before his encounter with Shadow no bandages he is exactly how he was in game but after Shadow beat him he wouldn't be able to stand without supporting himself on something and later he would be able to function normally only because of Phantom Ruby or something like that

It would be cool if infinite came back with the bandage design it looks very post forces

I love that you (and honestly myself as well, and probably plenty others) like the bandages and believe they make Infinite look tough -- like he's seen some combat and definitely has some battle scars (color palette aside, I think "cracked mask" beta-Infinite is my favorite for this reason. The others honestly make him look more like a ghost-type Pokémon than a _Sonic_ character imo, as cool as the prehensile tail is/would've been). And it's also kinda funny, because I remember reading a translated interview that mentioned they decided to ditch the bandages/mummy wraps because the designers/whoever had the final say thought _they made him look weak. _*_XD_*

Imo Infinite deserves a second chance, with a better written story and giving him more powers than the ones he had in Sonic Forces, if done right, he'd be as intimidating or even more than Mephiles

One of those could do for a really good boom design

5:00 - The one on the left looks like one of those D-Reaper spawns from Digimon Tamers. Reminds me of them cause they were some kind of ghost things with scithes coming from under their cloak.

How about this: After Infinite gets called back to the tower and meets with Eggman and is constantly being insulted by him calling him weak,worthless etc this makes infinite have flash-backs to when his family and his squad died his schizophrenia kicks in and it torments infinite on how he was so weak and that it was his fault that everyone he loved died and Shadow’s insults echo in his head Eggman then fires him and takes the ruby off but infinite pleads to him that he’s nothing without and begs for a second chance but no avail and is insulted again and is escorted and kicked out of the tower, after the events of sonic forces infinite goes into hiding in a underground bunker where him and his squad and family once were and is constantly brooding while the voices and flashbacks in his head continue to torment him he goes this cycle every day and night but it all changed when one day as he walks past a volcano a calm and mysterious voice beckons infinite investigates the voice but with extreme caution he goes down a massive cave lit by lava able to fit a ten story house, after what seemed like hours infinite discovers a massive room he then realises that he’s in the core of the volcano the voice the beckons him to the centre infinite then could see a dark figure with a black hooded robe similar to a grim reaper and a noticeable purple aura, as soon the as infinite goes closer the figure tempts him into giving him the power to do anything he wanted but to resurrect his loved ones required him to do something, it requires him to make shadow die a very painful death and to let him know that he was worthless and a failure but it also came with a cost: he will constantly be in pain and will always suffer infinite then accepts without a second thought and is told by the figure he will under go a metamorphosis. As the metamorphosis proceeds infinite felt pain like no has ever before as he is being transformed into something draconic, something devilish, as the metamorphosis ends infinite then wakes up in his bunker thinking what he has saw was a dream but he still felt pain and was suffering just like he was told by the figure and he noticed he had a more deeper voice, curious by what he dreamt infinite looks at himself by a nearby mirror and what he saw not only frightened him but it also made him smile as it did look intimidating and cool, he saw that he has new body with three pairs of wings and devilish and draconic look, two sets of metallic claws one on his fingers and thumbs the other is retractable and hidden between his knuckles, retractable metallic wrist blades, he found out he also use has new spikes on his back to spring up if needed, three new barbed spiked tails with retractable hidden blades as well as the barbed spikes could be used as stingers each with a unique venom from the other and he can use his tails to fire a concentrated beam and he realises that he has both of his eyes again amazed by what he had become he then proceeded to discover what powers he has, he used some empty metal boxes as his targets he tried destroying one of the boxes and it then de-atomises, he tried creating a rubber ball and out of thin air a rubber ball materialises, tried stopping time and space by throwing the ball he created it then stops mid way and comes back, he tried the illusions he did with his phantom ruby but he instead thought altering reality and it worked, he said to himself that the figure was right about him being able to do anything he wants, he then creates a set of draconic and devilish armour with a helmet instead of a mask but with multiple devil like horns and makes armour for his draconic then surge of darkness went through him as he knew his revenge was guaranteed and proceed to maniacally laugh as he is reborn from his ashes again but with a power that made the emeralds, wisps including mother wisp, phantom rubies etc more than a laughingstock or an entire circus I call this Infinite’s dark resurrection or Infinite the Devil Drake.
