There are legends who as they get older they evolve, Karpov into chess's final boss and deputy, Kasparov into a succesful writer, Vishy's school already created the strong young players of today, Hikaru's stream is probably more lucrative for him than his official chess career which still goes strong. And then there's Kramnik whose reports probably go into the spam folder.

I think Kasparov has tried hard to be good outside of chess but he's not much good other than in the chess world. I've seen Anand speak about non-chess related issues and even he impresses me more than Kasparov and he didn't give up chess to speak about other stuff. It's funny how so many people try to get what they can't achieve, including former world champions as well as GMJoey.

It’s not too late to improve your game or learn more about chess etc I’ve known how to play chess since 7 years old only learned Chess notations 3 years ago my puzzle rating has been as high as 2650 so I’ve improved and even becoming knowledgeable about the GMs of chess is a learning experience in itself
