You definitely know more about how Inscryption's guts work than me, so this is just a guess but; I'd guess that the fish are drawn from a hidden deck and something about editing the save caused it to un-shuffle when you returned, which explains why you drew them in order from bad-more-good.

I like how you could have just made the infinite card and then summoned that double gunner, but instead you summoned a seas worth of fish to kill the enemy, truly a disrespectful and elegant way to kill someone.

There is a mod combination that would be good for this type of vids. DebugMenu which adds manual event triggering and a deck editor and P03 in Kaycees mod which speaks for itself

Hey exxo. I recently tested a really hard challenge in act 2. It's essentially a nuzlocke, where if a card perishes, you lose that card. I managed to barely complete it, and it made act 2 so much harder. I also went to test what happens if you go below a certain amount of cards. Turns out that going 2 or less cards breaks the drawing. I've also tested act 3 but you do not upgrade cards and only pick the rightmost card. These are some pretty fun challenges if you feel up for it

I did even see that good fish and bad fish were options! I gave my fisherman up to P03 when he said "Choose me", thinking that he was going to try to sabotage him from the inside or something 😅 Couldn't bear to let my Wizard go though.

I found a exploit that happens that can happen when you immediently beaten a boss, where before you choose the first node. You can exit the game and go back into it, in order to reshuffle the map, pretty usefull for skull storm.

Say, next time you do Act 3, do this when you get to the Photographer... 1. Use Mrs. Bomb's Remote 2. Use Nano Armor Generator 3. Play turn and take photo of board... 4. Play next turn; win phase. 5. Start of next phase, revert board using photo. 6. ??? 7. Profit. You can actually use this technic is all of the bosses and practically cheese them all this way. It's genuinely hilarious! You'll need a bit more in order for it to work best against the Unfinished Boss and G0lly, but it otherwise gets the job done every time.

My guess for how it decides what fish to give you is that it lists like your next 60 instances of creating it beforehand and shuffles what order you'll do it And my guess is actually because you messed with the save file you prevented the list from shuffling

i played through inscryption three times and never came across anything other than a bad fish ! i guess i didn't let the angler die purposefully, so i didn't roll the odds very many times, but i only found out about the good fish through videos. i have no idea there was a More Fish!

You should do an episode where you use PO3. cards against Leschi

I like to think that the Fishbot code has a failsafe for drawing Good Fish, in case you ever try to edit your save file. If one thing seems out of place, Good Fish will be a snarky little bitch and refuse to enter your hand.
