Dude if you subsume Octavia’s ability on nova and make the enemies speed up they will run to Octavia’s ability with her augment and just die to the particle accelerator

It's a really funny unique interaction I seriously hope they leave it intact or at least don't completely destroy it

I honestly do not know how they could nerf this without reverting infinite duration, or making the portals just a pain to use. If projectiles used a charge, portals would become very unreliable.

I guess the most sensible nerf without breaking anything is to make the looped projectiles eat the portal uses if they want to keep the infinite duration

I'm guessing high strength/duration so enemies can run through the epileptic line of death faster.

Couldn't you do this and have Airburst rounds helminth ability from zephyr? Since that pulls enemies to the spot, it should be insanely good

works for any projectile weapon, obvs works best with extremely high / infinite punchthrough. has been a thing since Nova was released

That went from Warframe to Splitgate really fast.

If they gonna let projectiles use the charges of the portal, it'll immediately get wasted by enemy stray bullets or troll squadmates or simply just one shot of shotgun.

I can’t see this lasting, hopefully if it does get nerfed, they nerf the portal duration and not the nataruk

Explosions such as those of hexis referee drones explode, destroy the interaction, and it is impractical in the game because whether it is survival or defense, the enemies appear in a certain area, and it is not guaranteed that they will appear in the place where you put the portals

It's not new, I've personally been doing this for about 3 years now, and when they buffed Nova this update It simply made the setup last indefinitely unless the portal charges get used up, which can still happen if enemies come into contact with the portal. The problem before was obviously that the portals were duration based, so they would not last indefinitely as one would have to reapply the portal and the projectile every single time. It was basically a Walmart Mag as it did the same thing her bubble did just without the DMG vulnerability buff and the pull. The cool thing is that one can either use them as chokepoints or even make 2 or 3 or 4 portals face and connect to each other by using an enemy's body. So my build used Vazarin void snare ability to pull in enemies toward the portals, or even better one can just use a helminth ability on Nova that pulls enemies (Larva, Ensnare). Also, personally, i like using Dread incarnon now as the projectile feels bigger than Nataruk and looks cooler to me, but this can be done with any projectile based weapons with infinite punchthrough; although, it seems only the bow projectiles really last forever, other projectiles eventually dissipate, I've tested on a few of them, not all, but the ones I tested definitely did not last as long.

Tried this on GABII survival. Infested stood no chance. Leveling bows normally is tiresome, this is way faster for naturak at least.

How is it creating a loop? I thought both portals needs to face each other to go in and out creating loop?

Found out that you can do this with the Grimoire as well, and it is crazier. Not with the secondary fire though.

I just tried it out for the first time and the arrows seem to despawn after a certain amount of time idk if im doing it wrong (i dont think i am) so possibley shadow nerfed

Not so reliable in mission. Keeps disappearing after couple seconds. I replaced 1st with Ivara arrow so I can remain invisible in front of the portal, and shoot arrow when it dies.

Please DE dont change this. This is why we love warframe

I did this earlier today with a team of 4 novas. It got boring by the hour mark since even accolytes were dying like the second it came into the arrow path.

So when I tested it, whenever I shot it and got it going every-time I looked away it would stop but it would still be there on my friend’s screen? Anyone know why this is happening?

I think this has been changed, it only hits each enemy one time but continues going through them, so if your nataruk can one shot then it will work for you but otherwise it doesnt

some of the people doin it incorrectly, and not aligning the arrows so it can loop back, in perfect alignment the maximum it can loop back is about 15 to 25 minutes, they say it dissapears within seconds that's because of the alignment you shoot it at or just using nataruk the wrong way and just charge it and not doing the perfect shot, basically skill issue lol

I actually removed the portal off of my Nova cause for me it was useless. Added it back after seeing this I hope they dont nerf this.

Reduce the damage/speed of the projectile per portal travel, keeps the fun without the broken

It works with other weapons too. I'm doing it with a supra vandal right now. Obviously not as good because there's not infinite punchthrough. There's absolutely no way this is legal

Lex Prime Phantasma ignis All have infinite punch through Its more but not gonna name them all they will nerf the ability cause its so many weapons u can do this with Dread (Incarnon Form) Felarx. Fulmin Prime (Semi-Auto Mode) Lanka. Nataruk (Charged and Perfect Shot) Paris Prime (Incarnon Form)
