Infinite Shiny Spawn Glitch CRACKED & IMPROVED in Pokemon Scarlet 

make sure to check the crystals if you feel like one hasn't spawned in a while, they sometimes spawn inside and you can sort of see the greenish reflection.

So I was right, when I was doing this I started to consider standing still there because the target cam spam was showing those "Possible" spawns. These possible spawns are also responsible for things like sparkle ground + encounter ghost not functioning, as all the possible spawns are being taken up by ghosts and not ground, and only sparkle ghost can break through the day limitation.

As a violet player, i am shaking and crying and violently throwing up

Quick ball is 5× turn one and Dusk ball has 3× catch rate at night and in caves.

My guess as to how this works, as we've noticed in the video the normal ones seem to spawn in and out immediately. Almost like they're being forced to spawn during the day but they despawn because it's day? And it seems shiny spawns have some sort of priority in that they won't despawn due to the time of day? Hmm... As for adapting this to other pokemon it might just mean going to other places that have pokemon which only spawn during day or night. Examples include Nanette or Gastly which will only show up at night.

You can get someone to make the food in coop for you, and they can reset to keep all their ingredients while you keep the buff

i was running around with fairy power earlier today and was wondering why I never saw any flutter manes until i got the shiny so I guess that clears things up

So... correct me if any of these numbers are wrong, but this is what I found so far: The chances of getting Herba Mystica from a raid are incredibly low. There is, however, a list of a little less than 20 Pokemon that give you 1 in 4 odds of getting any Herba (25%). If you are looking for a specific Herba you are roughly looking at 5% odds per encounter from out of that list. Now, you have 8 raid slots every time you refresh. The game will let you refresh after roughly 5 minutes. Those odds do not sound terrible. However, with the Eevee event going on (and soon Charizard) 4 of those slots are blocked by Eevee, who does not drop Herba Mystica. The above odds, btw, refer to 5 Star Raids bcs the list of Pokemon that drop any Herba in 6 Star Raids is smaller, they take much longer and if even one of the people you get matched with is a "just drop a legendary, no matter the typing" kind of guy and keeps getting oneshot, your run is doomed and you cannot run away. Also, 6 star odds are only like 0.8% higher from what I have read. Now, of those 4 remaining raid slots, an average of 2 are 6 star raids, which you are trying to avoid. That leaves 2 slots to find one of the desired Pokemon. From what I have tested, those 2 slots contain a 5 star raid about every 2nd (15 minutes) to 3rd (20 minutes) refresh. That would mean that it would take me 15-20 minutes to get a 5 star raid in the first place. There are roughly 100 different Pokemon that can spawn in 5 Star Raids atm. For the sake of simplicity, let's say we got 20 desired Pokemon. That means 1 in 5 are the odds we are working with. Meaning we can multiply our 20 minutes by 5 to see ONE of the Pokemon we care about (100 minutes per relevant encounter). Remember the 5% odds to get an herb you want? For us that means: 100 minutes x 20 = 2000 minutes. However, per sandwich we need 2 specific Herba. 2000m x 2 = 4000m. That comes out to a little under THREE FKN DAYS of mindlessly pushing the refresh button, only to make ONE 30m Sandwich. And people wonder why guys like Blaines are looking for exploits T.T

Also, this glitch is ONLY applicable to mons that spawn during day or night. I can't think of a single zone that does this that has the time-based mon have a unique typing. Truly is a niche but powerful glitch.

It still works as of last night. Also, there’s a small chunk of rock not far from the location you found, that spawns a TON of flutter mane with this method

I tried this and got 4 shiny Flutter Manes. For some reason after my first shiny the encounter rate was non existent for anything other than shinies and after my forth nothing spawned at all.

so it looks like whats happening is that the game tries to spawn in pokemon, sees that it can only spawn ghost types because of encounter power lvl 3, since flutter mane is the only ghost type available it tries to spawn them in, but since its day it de-spawns them instantly, but theres a clause for shiny ghost pokemon so that players dont lose a shiny just cause it ticked over to day time, thus every spawn is de-spawned until it rolls a shiny one which stays, this means that any location with a time-exclusive pokemon that you can isolate the spawns for with encounter power is able to be shiny hunted with this same method

You dont need 2 salty herba misticas, one salty and one spicy works as well

Again, with these abuse of glitches and spawns, we need to be more careful Nintendo doesn’t fix them yet we only want them to fix the performance issues

Not patched on v 1.1.0 (the current version, as of 12/21). I do think the encounter rate of "4-8" is a bit exaggerated without the shiny charm. I tried 4 or 5 times, got 2 every time except once when I got 3. I kept resetting hoping for at least 5 but ran out of patience. Maybe I just had bad luck, but to anyone trying this, don't think it's patched just because you don't run into one within seconds. I ran around for minutes between each one.

You said in your last video that if you have violet you can join a player's game to get it. Can you demonstrate? I tried it didnt work

The sandwich recipes have improved. You no longer need to rely on salty herba mystica for these sandwiches.

If I do this with a friend (without doing the reset for ingredients after the picnic), would we have double the chance to spawn a shiny flutter mane? My friend has violet but it shouldn't really be an issue since they'll see the same mons in my game as long as we're standing close to each other.

I tried this out for other overworld ghost types (in outbreaks) and had sadly zero luck, all the normal spawns of the area spawned during the day - next step is to probably test an area where said ghosts spawn naturally instead of purely in outbreaks (??) but so far it's looking like an Area Zero thing somehow

My record is 10 in a 30 minute period. catching at the very bottom of the cave in the wide open section

Not sure if anyone has tried this, once you have the sandwich activated, teleport directly into area 4. The cave will be completely despawned via the glitch, head over to the laboratory and just go into the door then come back out. Once you do this the game will spawn in nothing but Flutter Mane, I got a shiny doing this so it’s possible to encounter an endless level of spawns thus increasing the shiny chances, pair that with a shiny charm you could a dozen shiny Flutter Mane. The Flutter Mane spawn all through out the entire cave, so have at it!

Was doing this last night with great tusk, right outside area 4 just stay there and despawn all of them, the first 20 seconds I git one and then another 15 mins later. I have one with the Peckish title. Was awesome. I'm trying to get roaring moon but too many other mons in there...

Any violet players tried doing this successfully with a scarlet friend in co-op? Area 0 just seems really buggy in co-op. Can't see my friend's character at all in area 0 and for some reason regular Fluttermanes can still be seen despite everybody's in-game time being set to day.

Maybe the first trade for Violet & Scarlet could be a shiny Fluttermane with all the attacks to solo Charizard for the 7 star raids happening later on this December.

Some suggestions: 1. Make your sandwich just outside of the Zero Area building so you don't waste time flying and loading to it. 2. When in the Zero Area, make sure you're in an OPEN area. 3. You can abuse this further by mashing ZL to "zoom" in the camera while moving the camera around back and forth. This causes the Flutter Mane to spawn and despawn quicker? So I stood on top of the crystal, looked down, mashed ZL and moved my camera back and forth and just waited for the shiny to spawn. (I have not updated yet.)

I do this during the day and get the ghost shiny boost but I'm still seeing all the other pokemon in the cave and no flutter's... I don't get it.

This shiny is great, sure, but what about other mons? I grinded out getting my golden magikarp earlier, but it'd be cool if we could uncover a more global shiny cheese.

Number 1: could you do this in violet? except using a sandwich for violet paradox pokemon number 2: is this guarenteed?

When these get patched people who own the physical copy can delete the game from their switch (safely since save data and game installs are separate). It will also delete the updates that go with the game. So later down the line if you don't update your switch at all you can basically play with this glitch untill your satisfied. (you just won't be able to play online since you'd have to update). I'd also recommend playing with your internet off and automatic switch updates off. Again just until your satisfied and when you're ready to play just update the game. Do not update switch firmware (turn it off in system settings) since eventually newer firmware may require you to habe a newer version of the game to even play offline.

Man if only getting the Herba Mystica wasn’t a pain. They should be a 50%-100% reward for six star raids but looks like I’ll ditch the sandwich method.

This really is a weird glitch. Simply pushing ZL in the cave mass spawns and despawns Flutter Mane in the cave during the day. Has anyone figured out if theres another pokemon this works with yet?

Is it really infinite shiny if its only the 1 shiny pokemon over and over?

I feel like mimikyu only spawns in the castle ruins at night, if true maybe you show up during the day with ghost x3 shiny+encounter? Can anyone confirm if mimikyu only spawns there at night? I feel like they do and no ghost mons should spawn at day, so the spawns should be pretty clear.

Just tried this and got 10 shinies after 3 resets...awesome!

Asleep with around 6-8 dusk balls per encounter, I tried just quick and dusk balls but after having to use 10 plus per encounter and getting 3 30 min tries with only 2 shinys. My first attempt I got 4 and that has not happened since. This kinda sucks

So, I encountered 6 Flutter Mane and used Luxury Ball on every one of them and it crit capped on every single one. I don't know if this is cause of glitch or what but it was odd
