@@osha737 I'd say that MOST games with a PvP focus don't provide that experience. Even PvE content can be lacking in that department, depending on the game. However, if done right, elements (such as setting/locations and characters), particularly if they have VERY dynamic (memorable, and/or gameplay-impacting) nature of a game can facilitate a muuuuch deeper player experience. (It's fair to say that, if one chooses to call my explanation a quick (but interestingly deep?) analysis of gameplay mechanics, then it's pretty much a CERTAINTY that I picked up/developed the ability/insight necessary to do so thanks to YEARS of watching (and rewatching) Extra Credits (game design, analysis, balancing, and other aspects of game creation) videos. 😛 😅)

Yeah it takes like 3 months of grinding everyday with a squirrel deck which is insane. You can’t even really pay to skip it either.

@@JoshCowlard Matchmaking takes into account collection level so you shouldn’t be matched against beta players

I think there's missions to upgrade your cards, so you should theoretically wait for those missions before you upgrade anything..? Idk, I didn't do it that way

I think the whole idea is that you swap the cards at the same time you progress the ladder.

I fully understand the frustration, we’ve all been there but it just takes time. While the grind can be frustrating keep in mind that if you do your dailies every day you can get a full collection in 4 months or so as a ftp player. It might seem like a long time but compared to other games it’s quite a good deal imo. Try focusing on what u have , there are many viable decks and strategies

I've made a Nick fury dinosaur deck it's pretty strong.

There are so many cards that look amazing, but it's too random.

Once you enter pool 2 you will only face people with pool 2 so you'll be facing people who are unlocking cards also in pool 2. It may seem like you're getting people with better cards then you but almost all the cards in this game are viable in their pools.

Yeah it's actually insane how different the game is, I didn't even realize there were this many cards in the game, I feel like I'm playing rock paper scissors while people are out there playing chess
