Imagine being Wilder, the guy who was definitely excited about this opportunity to promote his favorite game. One he has spent probably most of his time playing if not working, a clear enthusiast in it all. Then comes the trailblazer, not only becoming the champion, but using the most cheesiest exploit possible to bullcrap their way through every match. Wilder would probably cry.
We'll get a sequel to this dlc, and Wilder will have made a better version of the game, with no exploits, but then we find them again and he gets pissed 😂
Interesting exploit(?) team, silly and funny to watch! Despite what you said at the end of the video, in all seriousness, I find the team composition that I use to be even stronger (taking way less irl time), and easily accessible early on. The team uses Imaginary Weaver as the hypercarry instead of Voidranger: Trampler. - It does rely on key units having fully charged ults, = but you can work around it by deleting 1-2 enemies before any of them can even act, then spend your leisurely time filling up energy again for the next match. + enjoy destroying the "main boss unit" of each contestant before they can even take a turn. + And yes you can fully ignore "class" type as it has enough damage to ignore typing disadvantages. This is the team I used: (1) Trotter (2) Voidranger: Weaver (VW) -> Can be substituted with Silvermane Gunner if you haven't unlocked 3rd area yet (3) Silvermane Cannoneer (SMC) (4) Imaginary Weaver (IW) Every boss fight opens exactly the same (No enemy has been able to outspeed the SMC+IW combo from my observation): > SMC skill to IW > IW skill (135%+debuff+100%) > IW ult (Buffed 450%+debuff+100%) > SMC ult to IW > IW skill (Buffed 135%+debuff+100%) > IW ult (Buffed 450%+debuff+100%) > Afterwards is just cherry picking to see if you need another Trotter attack to secure the subdps ult kill On trash mobs that are too squishy, you can open with this instead (you just need 2 energy on IW for the above boss opener): SMC skill to IW > IW ult > IW basic/skillx2 ===Chips setup=== SMC: (1) Backstage Enhancement - +50% atk off-turn; Stacks multiplicatively w/ his talent and no major downside, fantastic (2) Saturated Activation - Regen 3 energy at start of turn; Comfort pick since I can choose to provide anyone low on energy +2 energy without worrying about charging his ult for next match IW: (1) Parallel Enhancement - Wearer and attacked enemies take 25% more dmg (vulnerable); I think it stacks multiplicatively with atk/dmg up buckets, and IW obscenely benefits from this due to opening with an AOE splash skill + Double action on first turn + High base speed (2) Threshold Disruption - +70% dmg when damaging enemies >80% hp; IW massively benefits from this due to the sweep opener discussed above, a buffed ult can kill/force an enemy from >80% hp to a low enough hp range where the subdps can clean them up Subdps: (1) High Load-Low speed - +90% atk but -30% spd; Stat stick to ensure ult kills, SM Gunner doesn't need to recharge ult at the end of battle due to his talent, while VW can circumvent the downside due to action advance baked into his skill (2) Malfunction - Deals additional 50% atk damage vs. debuffed (vulnerable) enemies; Extra damage to ensure ult kills Trotter (Tank): (1) Shield System - Taunt up + Start with shield; Self-explanatory (2) Attack Interception - Gain dmg nullifying barrier at end of turn; Synergises with taunt up (3) General Upgrade - +20% atk & +20% max hp; Trotter uses both of these 2 stats for respectable dmg + survivability (4) Morale - Grants a stacking buff with each ally action; The SMC+IW combo opener already grants 6 "free" stacks at the start of every battle
Finally got around to starting this event today. Very busy lately so this guide is invaluable. I'd love to take the time to learn each unit interaction and stuff but tingyun skill combo into death laser sounds pretty darn fun 🙏thank you kindly.
They shouldn't nerf this. Getting this after completing all the "necessary" battles made this feel like a proper reward. It's pretty much irrelevant since you can only do very very late into the event.
@@sanguinetaleswhat it means is that it doesn't activate consecutively with itself. What's happening is that it gives you an extra turn then at the end you ult for a different extra turn and since this extra turn from the ult is different you can then trigger the chip again to get another extra turn in that turn and then it keeps repeating
@@uwugangsomething484 For the quick command chip you'll need to go to the hyperlink matches. Under the "red light level". You can fight Wilder and get the quick command chip!
I remember finding this set up myself and out of the blue thought to myself "surely someone else also noticed this oversight" And I'm glsd I wasn't alone
I highly doubt this will be patched, at least until 1.5 starts. This is just a fun little event that will be vaulted like the musuem and amazon warehouse events and probably isn't worth the resources "fixing" something inconsequential to the rest of the game. Unless of course they plan on expanding this alternative game mode like Genshin TCG which I doubt.
Think so too. I had nonprobs doing it on my main but trying it right now on my alt and cannot get it to work. Nevertheless, thanks a million Nakfrg, it was fun while it lasted! you are the best.
I'll take this back! Although something really weird is happening. It is still working on my main acc while it doesn't on my alt, same team same mod chips yet is doesn't work (weird)
Hello! This is probably not gonna matter at all but I just wanted to pop by from the future and say that this comp still absolutely works. My enemies didn’t even get a turn HAHAHA
Wish I knew about that team setup before I beat basically the entire event, but I used another incredibly broken team setup I found on my own before seeing it was also discovered on reddit as well Using the Aurumaton Gatekeeper with these 3 chips makes it literally impossible for the enemy to have a turn, and it fills up the turn order with dragonfish as well which is hilarious Quick Command - spend sp for extra turn (*If you do not have this chip cuz I assume you aren't basically done with the event, use sudden interjection or the revive, sadly this does not make this combo literally infinite until you have about 4 fish on the field, you can soften the blow by targeting the closest to acting enemies with keeper basic and shadewalker's basic attacks to delay enemies, and vagrant to action advance the keeper again) Functional Overdraft - attacks cost 25% hp but action forwards by 40% Efficiency Optimization - Takes away 1 energy needed for ult, so gatekeeper now only needs 2 energy Use this with cannoneer and saturated activation chip (3 energy at start of turn) so you can immediately setup the process without ever getting hit Process: Step 1: cannoneer starts with his ult, so use on keeper. It gives 2 energy which is the amount the keeper now needs for ult Step 2: Ult with keeper, he will immediately take action, get enhanced state for 2 turns and summon 2 fish right below him (Optional: support the keeper with cannoneer beforehand) Step 3: Use an attack (it doesn't matter which, but I only used enhanced basic for a reason at the end), this will consume the rest of your sp but gives it the extra turn Step 4: Use the extra turn on another attack, the overdraft chip will forward it by 40% Step 5: The 2 fish will attack next, and for whatever reason, its attacks COUNT as the keeper's, so overdraft chip applies, the fish attacks and each give 40% more action forward, so it reaches over 100% and keeper gets its turn again (if you also supported the keeper, cannoneer will follow up on the fish attacks as well) Step 6: Normally you cannot gain energy while in enhanced state, but remember we already burnt both turns of it during step 3-4, so you can attack for +1 energy Step 7: The quick command chip activates for another turn because I guess the keeper's next turn is not "consecutive", therefore you lose your sp and can attack again, thus you gain another energy and gain ult again Step 8: Repeat steps 2-8 forever and the enemy will never get a turn I used this strat to bully the hell out of the March fight, and right before I won the fight, I checked and saw like 10 dragonfish in the turn order, and her aether spirits' turn order was at like 200 value because of how many enhanced basics I spammed on them (they cause imprisonment so rip bozo)
This is a great build. I guess a major downside is that you cant really get quick command chip until way later in the event. Not only do you have to go through 19 characters in hyperlink to get it, but you also have to go through the final boss of the actual event to even unlock the required hyperlink match. At that point, i think most players have already come up with teams of their own.
It looks crazy, but it doesn't feel strong or satisfying to me. I personally wouldn't want to set up that strategy, but is interesting how you found it
Hey, i had my game open as you posted this comment so i decided to test it for you. Can confirm that it still works, you're just doing it wrong. You have to make sure you do the right opener, normal attack into ultimate.
I'm actually trying to get a code myself, i live in Australia so we don't have access to the promotion so I need to somehow get a code from one of the asia countries that have the promotion.
I'm going to the event tomorrow so I could pick up the code for anyone who needed exchange for the food since I have to buy one food combo for the code :3
It still works like a charm (as soon as I finally figured out the correct start sequence). Just finished the event and used this trick in the last 5 battles.
