Since the water bottle is wide it has more atmopheric pressure when compared to water column in the tube , so upto some height above water bottle, water can be lifted in the water tube.

Why does the description say its not possible but the video shows it is? It almost kind of made sense to work by watching carefully it would seems if it does work that once the current would start to flow maybe there would be no reason why it should stop I did try this with smaller bottle and pipe some years back without success but after seeing it today maybe it made me think I did not do it right the first time and had not fully understood the current flow idea so I gave it another go but I ordered a 5l water bottle from the store and they only sent me a smaller 2l one I figured it may still work or maybe it needs more for more pressure to get it working anyway first I tried with the old narrow pipe I used from years ago's test no luck again then I tested a wider pipe more like the vid hoping it would be the key to success but just made a mess with water all over the place got all wet lol but no success yet I understand it could be possible when it goes off cam twice he adds some pump batt config but hoping I'm wrong I may still try a larger bottle and maybe even slightly larger hose soon hopefully just to be sure I cannot succeed but there maybe other things that made his work like the color may serve a purpose to change the viscosity of the water or something like in another vid of perpetual motion wheel with water bottles one guy said he made it work simply by adding lots of salt to make the bottles heavier otherwise it would not work!?! (ye I still gotta build that wheel just to be sure I'm not dreaming or being fooled again..) Hmm what a bugger if only all the fake stuff would just disappear from RU-vid overnight and we could be just left with all the world of truth anyway that's my prayer for the day done and yeah also that we pray to elevate the souls of all those who make the fake vids... peace also just to add quickly it would not seem so simple in my mind for any water pump to actually be able to do the work as it would need to be connected in exactly the correct way to get the water into the hose which doesn't change in the vid BTW so I would not of thought that there was a pump hiding without reading it in the comments but I do understand anything is possible and I may have been fooled
