This is a short, animated visual proof computing the sums of the series of reciprocals of specific binomial coefficients, namely those obtained by considering one column in Pascal's triangle. Amazingly, the same geometric argument, relying on telescoping, will give a nice formula for the infinite sum of reciprocals of each column.

Dope! I love the fact that there's a channel dedicated wholly to geometric/visual proofs. This one was pretty cool - great job!

This is really cool - I'd never seen something like this before. I suppose a similar thing would work with other telescoping series, too.

Absolutely awesome, Indeed I liked the proof because two free variables were used and that broadened and generalized the topic. I really got good insights. Thank you.
