Step 4 is the most difficult. What helped me is figuring out that I need to have minimal contact between my fingers and the pen. Except for the two small points where I'm directly holding the pen, the remaining portion of my two fingers needs to stay wide open so that the pen can rotate through them.

I actually managed to do this one for once. Tip that worked for me: use a pen that has the rubber bit as a grip. It stops it slipping from your fingers when you have to do that hard spin back to your thumb. Really helpful with learning

started 3:58pm now its 4:48pm and i did it finally - small tip that is not clear in the vid:- in step 4 try to give the pen some power and push it to the side instead of trying to get it to the rest point from down between your finger it wont work - Also:- try to help the pen fet back using your thumb

My advice is to repeat the transitions from the wrist flicking parts. Most errors are from the brain trying to subconsciously autocorrect movement so that you don't drop it or autocorrecting itself because it thinks the way you are moving is faster than your hands are used to or maybe the movement is unnatural, my overall tip is to just keep trying; I managed to get the transitions to be mostly smooth in just 30 minutes of practicing, I'm not the fastest at learning these sort of things, since I'm more used to restricted movements, so maybe you can learn it much faster

For step 4 dont try to align your fingers, try to seperate them. If you want a guide here 1. Put your middle finger and index finger next to each other 2. Lift your index finger 3. And done, thats the correct form probably And try putting your pen near that skin line near the finger nail and remeber dont pinch too hard Anyways that how I probably did not too sure too

OMFGGGGG This took me 30 minutes to learn... GUYS, ITS POSSIBLE!!!! DON'T GIVE UP!!! KEEP PRACTICING! Aim for these goals: 1. Your first loop 2. Your first two loops 3. Your first three loops etc. Eventually your brain will get used to it. ALSO, don't pay attention to the pen or think too much, it will confuse you. Don't apply too much pressure to the pen either!

Day 1: I’m getting started and doing decent, I’m stuck on the spin between the fingers cuz my hands are small. Update later. Update 2 minutes later: OMG I CAN DO IT however it will eventually get too far for my small hands but I’m using a wooden pencil soo it makes sense. DONT GIVE UP

I think the real issue is keeping your fingers close to the end of the pen, cause mine drift away from the tip with each loop. I think I'm just not doing it properly and I need more practice.

@herrforehead1279 I started out with a pen with a grippy part and practiced the motions on it mostly (obviously you're not going to go that fast) but once you're used to spinning in one part of the pen it should be easier to keep a grip on one's without a grippy part

My pen was too heavy to balance so i just found a pen which is perfect and now i love that pen because it made me popular in my class as everyone loved it and also my friend asked to teach her. For step 4, Try practising various movement using your index and middle finger. When your doing it slowly, It is very hard. But once u did various movement and your 2 fingers is used to it, just trust the process and do it quickly at the 4th step. Your finger will surely do the steps automatically.

Here's my tip of advice for some who might didn't do this It is that id you cannot figure out by seeing this video then change the speed of this video from nirmal as much slow as you like so that you know each move well. Stay hard! Goodluck
