Hawkeye's was definitely by far my favorite. You just get an understanding of how sudden the dusting was, and the foreboding thunder was way more pronounced when it was cracking over that vast open field, that was an eerie visual.
@jockadoobee I don't think it was meant to be the same for everyone though. Some people got dusted fast while others it took some time. Fury Spidey, and Groot it took a while to completely dust. Starlord, Mantis, and Drax it happened almost instantly. Hawkeyes family probably got dusted so quick they couldn't say a word.
@@jjveliz10 I think it's a little bit of that and a little bit of just different reactions. Some people knew immediately that they were dying, some people were confused, some people's natural instinct was to look to their friends, or talk to someone. Just how we all react differently to sudden death or passing out. Because of this I think the Russo Brothers didn't worry too much about how some people got dusted differently. I bet they just assumed people would go with it since it really isn't as deep as some people get hung up on it, like jockadoobee lol
@@spec___ You're right. The Russo Brothers mentioned that Parker knew what was happening and tried to fight it. Which seems to me that would by why Hawkeye's kids disappeared so fast. They didn't expect it so they didn't really have time to react. And to be honest, some people might not have even known it was happening to them. Some people could have been dusted in their sleep or just watching tv and not really paying attention. Spider-Man didn't feel good because he was scared and had time to react to what was happening. He didn't want to fade away.
Although it isn't real i got scared somehow I don't know how but i was afraid of being snapped and it makes you wonder sometimes what if just what if a thanos like dude exists in a far off solar system. What if there's a device actually capable of snapping away 50% of the universe.
@Isaiah George 50% of life in the universe. Look i know this mess is fictional and there isn't but sometimes when watching the thanos snap videos it just makes me wonder.
@@OldHoboManRU-vid whether u afraid of being dusted & die & suddenly come back to life again (bcuz avengers will avenge us & reverse the snap u know) or u suddenly lose some ppl u know & have to continue ur life while the society, government, & the world got screwed (sorry bad english)
Willie McCoy I'm guessing it died (don't know if the ants can die or not so I could be very wrong) or it went into hiding or (not much of a spoiler but still) cassie took care of the ant when she grew up moved into the house in endgame
Aw man, that would be a genius prank, if you saw the movie in theatres and went back with a friend, gave them a blanket and stuff, and then at the snap they dive behind the seat in front of them and you throw stuff (like confetti or something) over the seat in front of you where someone's sitting and stare in horror at the empty spot where your friend was sitting. I'd love to see the reaction of the people in the theater. Oh well, too late now.
I have read a story in the comment. The OP watch infinity war on the left of a mother and her daughter. When the snap happens, the daughter cry. The mother hug her and told her, "hey hey its okay you wouldn't be disappear, I'm here.. its okay"
@@uglebeffus I did this to my friend we were on a school trip. We already watched so brought some dust and after the snap we disappeared. Some students were crying. I felt guilty
Ethan Morgan- There's actually a belief similar to this among Evangelicals, where people across the Earth will suddenly vanish. It's called "the Rapture." Except in that case, the people who disappear are taken up to Heaven, and those who remain are "Left Behind" and have to face the "Tribulation," which is a series of calamities like floods, plagues, earthquakes, etc. SO in that scenario, disappearing is actually a GOOD thing.
Can't think of a name that sucks! So how are they not gonna mention anything about avengers? I haven’t watch AOS in awhile so I don’t know what’s happening
It’s so interesting how wildly different in tone these movies are and yet every scene involving the snap always invokes the same feeling of emptiness, loss, and confusion
Andrew Glinski It’s actually entirely possible! The location of Wakanda would likely place it in the same time zone as Nairobi, Kenya, which is 9 hours ahead of San Francisco. Assuming Infinity War takes place in summertime - supported by a very green Central Park early in the movie - it’s believable that close-to-the-equator Wakanda was still experiencing bright sunlight as late as 7 or 8 in the evening - mid-morning for San Francisco and lunchtime for a hungry family in Missouri.
Now I have to know what became of this ant in the five years since. Did...did he go out and get a job? Pay Scott's bills, take his daughter to school? Adapt a human guise and get a record deal as a sick drummer?
@@michaeltenenbaum8450 Bite your tongue!!! Perhaps by enlarging the ant, his/her lifespan was increased. (C'mon, I need my irrelevant and unlikely headcanons, hah)
Johann 360 that’s part of the movie, he was under house arrest and then some stuff happened, he’s escaped and the ant copies his daily routine to trick the house arrest ankle band
Has that ant been stuck in a 5-year loop of going through Scott’s daily house arrest schedule? If so, that’s a new weird bit of darkness to add to this whole mess
It’s what we need honestly. This world is getting worse all the time and we need a big ole thanos style reset button I think. Especially America, holy shit am I embarrassed to be an American.
im pretty sure the post-credit scene in Antman 2 with the ant was with some time distance, like couple minutes at least, sincce national warning emergency signal wouldnt be put that quick especially not under those circumstances
@@themathhatter5290 You can actually see the messa ge on the screen. It goes somewhere along the lines of "This is not a test. A nationwide state of emergency is in progress. This is not a test"
@@christosioannou9628 That's not neccesarily true. It moves slower, and faster, and the same speed, and everything else all at the same time. The rules of time and space get more stretched and weird the deeper in the Quantum Realm you go. The depth that Scott was at? Well 5 years in the normal world dilated to roughly 5 hours for him, so if we stuck with that math, assuming it's consistent wherever Scott Lang is in the Quantum Realm (And I will spoil you now, I'm pretty sure it's actually _not_ consistent), as Janet, Hank, and Hope experienced say, 2 minutes? Scott would've experienced .000228 minutes, which is absolutely impossible to have two way communication with, so my guess is that even where Scott is, the flow of time he's experiencing varies in speed, with the *_total_* amount of time experienced for Scott being roughly 5 hours. But of course, there's probabaly some fictional variables in the MCU that makes things a lot less complicated
you can see in his face and hear in his voice when he turned around how terrified he was. He spent his whole life trying to fight to keep his family safe, just to see them vanish in front of him. No wonder he turned dark. "I retire for what, 5 minutes and it all goes to shit."

It makes the snap so much more real to see all these different perspectives. People were just going about with their day, with their regular lives. They had no idea that their whole world was about to change, and then half the people were just gone
XenoTronus PrimeZilla#21068 yeah something similar happened in the Defenders where Matt comes home only to hear people panicking from the earthquake. It would still be pretty cool.
Jose Sanchez it doesn’t make sense in infinity war peters school where on a bus and everyone saw a spaceship uet later on in the day they have a band play thingy despite a spaceship normally schools would evacuate there kids and for me schools should be closed for at least a week until the threat passes
In "Quantumania", I'd love to see Cassie Lang's take on the snap (like a flashback scene with older Cassie narrating). It'd be interesting to see it from the perspective of a child, which Cassie was at the time. No other times has that been done in the Snap. Cassie Lang's life was probably fricked up pretty bad, seeing some of her classmates and maybe even her teacher disappear, all with the suspense of "am I gonna die too", and then finding out that her father "died". Plus, we don't know what happened to Maggie & Paxton, or even someone like Luis. She could've very well been orphaned (but most likely not because she is living in the same house in Endgame). They should try to get Abby Ryder Fortson back too (and digitally de-age her like they did with Corey Carrier in the shot-for-video segments of Young Indiana Jones, so it would line with correctly, as the snap happened right after AMATW).
If Deadpool is now in the MCU, will the snap have affected his city as well? Do you think maybe he already knew what was going to happen thanks to Cable's time travel device?
Yeah and the worst thing is, this was only 2 “families” experiencing it, this happened in almost every household. I can’t imagine how sad the world would be
it really hurt when you don't expect it.... Drax calling for Quill, Bucky calling Cap Steve, Hawkeye suddenly being alone, and Scott getting trapped in the Quantum Realm.... that really hit me
@@ValpasKankaristo No, he committed mass genocide not only on Earth but in whole Universe but whatever. Nobody gets to make decisions like that. Also, this is just s temporarily solution so yeah, whatever, I guess?
I prefer to only speak in terms of Earth, because that's the planet I'm most familiar with. I can still imagine other planets having the same problems. As for the snap being "temporary", that we cannot blame Thanos for. He gave everyone - on Earth and elsewhere - a new chance. A chance to live a better life, with less worries about overpopulation and climate change(s). Thanos thought people would realize not to ever go back to the horrific amounts of people (or aliens) their planet once had stored at a time. But no.
Valpas Kankaristo Thanos believes his cause to be righteous, and when calm, can do a pretty good job of convincing people that it is. But the fact if the matter is he was ending lives on a scale that a single person cannot even comprehend, against all of their wills. On top of that he is causing immense grief for literally everyone across the universe. *endgame spoilers* On top of that, as we see in endgame, when he realizes that the universe did not appreciate what he did, he attempts to literally destroy it and rebuild it how he thinks it should be. Sure if you kill everything, ever, no one is hungry anymore, but also everyone is dead. Overpopulation was solved but no one was saved. It almost the exact same train of thought ultron had. He thought that humanity’s biggest threat was itself, so to save humanity, he had to destroy humanity. Would you call ultron a hero? Now imagine ultron succeeded, but did that to the entire universe itself. Again, would you call ultron a hero?
*[spoilers cont'd]* I wouldn't call Ultron a hero. I didn't like Thanos' new philosophy in Endgame, what I'm arguing for here was his actions in Infinity War. We see in Endgame a couple hints of life on Earth improving over The Five Years, most notably Steve mentioning the return of the whales. I do think life was, on paper, better. The problem was that so many still remembered the people they lost and wanted them back. Thanos didn't think this would happen and just assumed people would and should be grateful. We see in Tony that very few individuals had already more or less moved on. Maybe everyone else had too, had the Avengers not reversed everything because they missed their friends. Mind you, the second Snap was also likely against wills of many people, who had (had to) come to terms with the fact that their friends/family aren't coming back and had found a new life. In short, I don't like what they did with 2014's Thanos but I do see some good in what 2018's Thanos did.
That's pretty poetic, Tony is mourning for Peter, cap and the rest of the avengers look in horror, and thanks looks on feeling like he did the right thing
WTF are you all talking about? The Quantum Realm didn't spare Scott from the snap. He still would've been affected by the snap. It's just he was in the lucky 50% who didn't get snapped.
The way how the 2 “hero” forced are showed in the end is just so cool, The Avengers watching how they failed and Thanos smiling because in his perspective he’s the hero of the story, awesome.

I’d like to assume that the quantum realm is what mainly protected Scott from the decimation, but it could also be that he was lucky enough to be apart of the lucky 50%.
@@roby6811 I think the Russo brothers stated that he was just part of the lucky 50%. But Scott still absolutely needed to be in the quantum realm at the right moment.
Apple Slices I feel like he was still part of the 50/50, and he was just lucky enough to survive. I see what you mean though, and maybe you’re right. I just think that anyone in the universe was part of the snap.
I think the real moment of the snap was when the yellow particles at the quantum realm started appearing and it was a few seconds before hope become dust
