@@ItsSisko Did they scan her OR is the sculptor really that good? I've heard they're doing a LOT more scanning of actors, props, and miniatures. You get a much more exact replica that way. In the past, though, when they released statues in "different sizes" they had to do new sculpts for the different sizes because details change. The problem with that is that it still comes down to eyeballing details and proportions and people being people, and all of us seeing things a bit differently --! That way of doing things inevitably ended up with statues have proportion/scale issues with parts. I saw statues of Looney Tunes all the time Warner Bros Studio Store where the characters were obviously off-model...
@@ItsSisko P.S. -- It's not a whip... It's her Golden Lasso. I know people are big on Gal Gadot now but Wonder Woman will always be Lynda Carter to me...
Did not think Queen Studios likeness could be outdone, but Infinity did it.These are off the charts.I want the Infinity Gal Wonder Woman Sculpt on the Queen Studios Bust.Damn' that would be the ultimate WW.Excellent vid.Thanks,Sisko.
I absolutely love those Predators of course and thank you for bringing them a close up detail of each piece. Can't wait to see if I can pre-order these as well.
The two statues unpainted next to Naruto statues, are from Yu Yu Hakusho, Toguro full power akuma transformation, and Kurama full power akuma transformation both, i wish that all painted, superbe! Great videos, love it!
Thanks for taking the time to "naaa naah yaaa maaaaa" read my comment. Are you using a IPhone to "naaa naah yaaa maaaaa" record? So clear and the audio is so "naaa naah yaaa maaaaa" crisp... Sorry I couldn't help my self. :)
OMG ansol2006 commenting on my video! I used to look forward to your convention coverage every year. You are one of the reasons I started filming conventions. Thanks so much for all the great coverage you did
It's Sisko so sweet of you. I used to watch Pitu and Seanlong coverages and sometimes they would go really fast in things that’s like to see in details. Unfortunately I left California few years ago. You are doing an amazing job!! Those bust are spectacular but impossible for me to have them.
@@ansol2006 Thanks so much, I'm really glad you like the coverage. I would love to have these busts as well, but I think they are just way too big for my collection. It was amazing to see the level of realism they were able to achieve on them though. The Gal bust was unbelievable!
You must have been one of the first people ever to see that Berserker Predator Sisko!..I'd never heard of Infinity and Queen Studios before..Enjoy Shanghai..Ian
No, I didn't see the Medusa! There were three halls worth of statues at the event, and I didn't even make it to the third hall which was the smaller independent studios. I suspect it was in there. There was so much to see and film it was overwhelming.
Wonder woman is the only one I care for. I dislike the tactical suit and I dislike pretending superman has his space garb on under his civilian clothes
Wonder what Ben, Henry and Gal’s reactions to their 1:1 scale portrait busts would be or say? Beautiful real life like detail. The Naruto pieces are amazing. Some of these studios should revive Dark Stalkers and do Cowboy Bebop.
Yeah, I seem to be one of the few people using a camera to film at conventions these days. It's certainly much more bulky and awkward than using a phone (and heavier, my poor arms), but I feel like the video quality is worth it.
Hi Jorge, sorry for the late reply. The collectibles in this video are all made by a company called Infinity Studio. You should be able to buy their products through specfictionshop in the US, or check their facebook for other distributors.
Wonderful of you to share thanks . Camera is sharp and clear too, but you must slow down your hand and practice moving more slowly and steadily somehow (not saying I would do better) but many of the movements are pretty jerky and jarring this was mostly when you got to the Anime figures, just much to quick, bouncing around, almost sea sickness inducing and lots of detail skipped over/shot by. Again I like what I saw and do appreciate your efforts immensely. Just remember, 'slower, steadier'.
Thx Sisko. Really appreciate your video. Have you ever thought of taking stills as well. I really liked those Asian warriors on horseback. Would like to see more of the. Will check out Infinity studios. Thx
Unfortunately I'm an absolutely terrible photographer when taking still shots! I just can't get my head around all the shutter speed, iso, etc. and the auto mode on my DSLR is not good enough to do it for me. So I generally take very few photos. I want to save up for a new camera that will have a better auto mode, but that will take me a little while. I'm thinking maybe a mirrorless will be easier for me to use.
I personally preferred the Infinity Wonder Woman over the Queen. It honestly looked like it might come alive at any second. The pose and facial expression were so powerful, and the skin tone was absolutely amazing and looked a bit more real than the Queen imo. That said, the Queen Studio one also looked great. But Infinity really hit a home run with theirs.
