Jeez...lotta snark on this comment section. At least you paid for this so WE didn't have to gamble finding out ourselves! I appreciate your expense & effort making this video review. Thank you!
Just ran across an ad for these targets. Figured they probably weren't worth the price tag. I was right. One of these would have to outlast like a hundred cardboard targets to be worth the money. Getting visible holes that fast says they won't. And about half the price of an AR500 target that'll last for an eternity.
Anyone who has one of these targets, what would you think of using something like flex seal or some rubber spray to repair the targets between range days?
I’ll stick with cardboard for pistol calibers. I may try this with only high velocity rifle rounds as it seems to perform better with 556/308. Also, you should’ve shot in different areas for each caliber bc you were counting some of the holes in the back from the 9mm as the hole for the 50bmg. I bet even with the 50 it would heal better than the 9mm bc of the higher velocities and the shape of the bullet almost slicing through the rubber.
I just did a review on this and I took a big chunk out of it with 93 rounds of 9mm. For $100 a target these are nowhere near worth it. If you have a home range get steel, if you are at other ranges use paper or cardboard.
It does a little better at longer range, but it's so-so. Supposedly they are now using a different rubber mix that works better. I need to order some and see if it's an improvement.
@@Gruntreviews sounds good I just stumbled upon this company today in another video then found yours. I'm looking at buying some steel targets to set up. Also if ya know anyone looking for a carry piece I'm looking to sell or maybe trade a Shield plus performance center 4" ported barrel with the red dot. I would like to buy parts for my Canik Rival
You can tell you were given this overly priced target for free because even after it was chewed up considerably after only 60 rnds of 9mm, you acted like it was barely scratched. Nice shill job for an over priced garbage product.
I got that feeling as well. The back is chewed up and there is visible light through it after three mags of 9mm? Then he goes on to say how good it is? This thing will be in the trash after one trip to the range. Also, like someone else mentioned, it really just looks like horse stall mat when he takes it off and is handling it at the end.
