Does the rico 42 has a better image?

I'd say the Rico 384 has a little better image quality but part of that could be related to the 4x base mag of the Rico vs the 3x of the Bolt TL35. I believe the real deciding factor between the two scopes is your shooting distances and whether you need 3x or 4x base mag. They are very different in that regard. Jason

@@outdoorlegacy I am deciding between the pulsar thermion 2 xq38 that is the perfect mag for me 2.5 for hogs, and the tube and rico42. Is the image in the xq38 as good?

@@macq1980 The Rico 384 sounds like it is too much magnification for what you're doing. The Thermion 2 XQ38 is excellent, it's just really hard to get. The supply is super low on it. The big benefits of the Bolt over the Thermion are the better battery life and 5 year warranty. I think the Thermion 2 is a really well built optic and the fit and finish is excellent but I think it also depends on if you like the 3x of the Bolt vs the 2.5x on the XQ38.
