Thanks for another honest, great review. At 6k it makes it hard for the average Joe with a family to justify the expense when added to the cost of a decent thermal scope. I think at those costs I'll have to put up with my traditional scope and keep nailing those ferals.

I think you have to change the visible camera to "Night" mode by pressing Down and Menu at once to enable the camera to pick up light from the IR torch. Otherwise, the IR Cut filter will be in place for a colour image which is why you didn't have good results there.
Yes agreed. I’m not sure what they were intending the NV to be used for but I think probably for day time use but even then I find them not quite as clear as they could be. The thermal does shine though and that is what I mostly use it for.
