Inflating a pool using a $3 hair dryer with "cool" setting

In the video, I inflated an 8-ft inflatable pool using a $3 hair dryer/ blow dryer I got from a local electronics discount store (cdrking.com). It is the same hair dryer that I use to inflate an inflatable queen size bed. Make sure you set your dryer to the NO HEAT or COOL SETTING so you don't melt your pool and the nozzle.
1 USD = 44 Philippine Pesos

Omg! Time saver or what! U saved me of how many hours to inflat a 4 x 15 air pillow for the pool! 15 minutes flat! Didn't even finish my drink!! Lol

Thank you. I had to use some duct tape and squeeze the bit for blowing in to but it got done in 20mins with little effort

Bought a pool today.. broke the air compressor I borrowed from my dad when it fell out of my van when I opened the hatch.. Going to try this for today and figure out how to fix the compressor. Ugh! Thank you for this idea, though!

I guess your blower is not cool enough. ;) My blow dryer's cool setting really has no heat coming out of the nozzle. Just regular temperature air.

Our pool has a hole with a plug. However, if it is laid flat on a smooth surface, water won't drain because the weight of the pool is pressing down against the hole which prevents water from going out. It requires me to wedge something between the ground and the pool so that water can seep out from the bottom.

I am not sure because floater's valves are usually small and would require slightly more pressure with less volume (opposite of blow dryers which have low pressure but high volume). But let us know if you tried it and it worked for you. :)

My blow dryer smells like it's going to catch on fire at the cool setting. Why can't I just use my bicycle pump? It doesn't seem to work.

Maybe your haird dryer's cool setting is still too hot. The air drier pushes out high volume but low pressure air and that is what the pool needs. Your bike pump is high pressure low volume.
