Influence and Impact - OBS Sport Truck History, Rockstar Trucks and 90s Styling, Phantom Dually 

Looking back and counting back, I've owned 14 GMT400/GMT415 trucks in just about every configuration. Currently I still own two GMT400's. A 1999 C2500 standard cab long bed and 1995 C3500 standard cab long bed Dually, and there will always be a GMT400 in my collection. I have THAT much of a love for this body style. In the early 2000's I ventured into the sport truck realm with a 1988 standard cab step side that I slammed, blacked out and turned into a tribute SS. It won best in show at a number of truck shows and car shows. So many fond memories of ALL of the GMT400's both past and present. I'm still quite active on a number of truck forums and groups. These trucks have gone WAY up in values as of late, but I'm not letting go of them. Thanks for this trip down memory lane guys! Zip~

Absolutely love my '93 Indy Pace Truck and '94 GMC K1500 Suburban. It amazes me how well both still drive and ride.

Over here on the southeast we had the choo choo customs, southern comfort etc dealer conversion packages which weren’t as sporty but more luxury focused with woodgrain trim and fiberglass running boards

My dads compadre had a yellow bagged dually back in the early 00s Boyd’s style. Used to pull up to the house and air out parked in the front and I would just go stare at it 😂

Just a small correction. The 454SS came with a 14 bolt rear end. 1990 had a 3.73 then 91-93 they gave it a 4.10 with the 4L80e.

I love my 93 extended cab long bed OBS it’s slammed on 20 inch rally wheels, two tone paint. I’ve had 3 OBSs two slammed 93 and one 4x4 96!

Bought my first OBS truck new in ‘94, GMC short bed fleet side single cab Sierra GT and still have it. Now I have 2 more, an ‘88 Silverado short bed fleet side single cab and a ‘99 Tahoe 2dr 2wd. Can’t wait to start work on the ‘88. I hope everyone enjoys their OBS trucks as much as I do Keep up the good work

I live in mexico close too Texas and i used too have a 454ss Mexican version 400ss and i hate the chalino naco style jajajaj Mine used too have 17s and never came out or never stick out from the fender y can send you pictures if you wish
