I just imagine a survivor type series where youtubers and 'influencers' are stranded on an island and have to survive. They wouldn't. We'd have to save them eventually.. It would be comedy.
Actually. In The Netherlands we have a show like that called ''Expedition Robinson'' (But in Dutch) and all though it's not really 100% about surviving you normally do, they are limited to food resources etc. They have to built their own shelter, do really heave competitive tasks and these contestants are nowadays it exists mainly out of inluencers, youtubers etc. They actually do pretty well!
There are two kinds of influencers Bad and Good.. If this so called influencers doesn't give a good influence then they belong to "bad" because there's nothing in between...
On the hotel issue.. it's not a company it's a small family run business. It's not Orlando studios which makes millions of dollars. They had every right to put the entitled princess on blast for asking them to work for free when every cent or penny in a small family run business counts. "Influencers" shouldn't get anything for free frankly. How can you trust the word of someone who isn't buying a product themselves. They are basically being given stuff to lie to you. So bollocks. The hotel had every damn right
The owner's response was so well put. He pointed out that his following proves he doesn't need some influencer's mention, and that shout outs don't pay the utilities, cleaning staff, chefs, waitstaff, etc.
12:54 The hotel didn’t expose her; he never revealed her name. She posted a video saying she was humiliated and that exposed who asked for the free stay.
I’ve worked with, and interacted with many celebrities, and “influencers”. The celebrities, it always 50 :50. Half humble and kind to people helping them. Other half treat you like you’re stupid garbage. Influencers, I’d say 20:80. They almost always think they’re more famous than they are, and that you’re wasting their times, despite them asking you for your time.
Wow! That check scam by Kayla Massa is way beyond letting influencer fame going to her head. That is straight up fraud. Please do a follow up with what legal troubles followed. Thanks IO.
I kno I can’t stop thinking about that one it’s disgusting! Who would EVER give their banking info up like that! To a complete stranger at that, which is horrible probably all young people too . I hope she got arrested 🤬
They travel to the island on a plane when suddenly a tornado strikes and throws them to snake island. They run for the highest peak to escape the snakes when suddenly a volcano , they suffer minor bruises and burns by clinging to the edge when suddenly a sulphur pot opens up. What a day!
@@blankfaces256 it like a Jason Statham movie and his wife is way younger and out of his league but since he’s a successful actor and shes looked up to him from the day she started passing out her headshots and auditioning in L.A. she didn’t mind playing the roll and had to force herself to keep in mind that this is the dream she was chasing ever since she ran away from her parents in a small town in Milwaukee..
it's unbelievable how many great content makers on social media have such a small following. Their content is so good because they work hard to grow their channel, but for one reason or another they aren't going viral or being circulated properly and their channel grows at a snail's pace. Then you have channels that explode with the creator being entitled, chaotic, or harmful to other people. Life truly isn't fair. Good people don't always get what they deserve, and problematic people tend to get more attention than they deserve for bad behavior.
Here's a tip. Then only reason someone wants your bank account who did not hire you full time legally for a job is so they can take out money not deposit one. Foolish people still exist I see.
There's no way a motorcycle accident happened. She has no road rash and her helmet and bike was in pristine shape. If you've seen a real accident, you'd know this was fake.
in terms of the one that wrote the bad restaurant review and said they should’ve been happy for the free advertising- she expected her food to be comped, therefore it would not be “free” advertising. also, i cannot believe Elle Darby said she worked with Universal Orlando and it’s been amazing for them. i live in Orlando. Universal Studios gets as many people as Disney, if not more. it’s one of the most well-known theme parks in the world. the fact that this chick said her visit was amazing for them as though she drove all this additional traffic to the park is beyond embarrassing. like i can’t believe she said that and meant it earnestly. I have secondhand embarrassment for her
500 subs to even make a career off twitch is something very responsible. You cannot make money with less than that many sub. Twitch just won’t allow it. The fact that people are upset over this and calling her obsessed with fame knowing that twitch makes you have a certain amount of followers to start making money and deals is beyond me.
Nothing I hate worse than rude, self-entitled lil brats, who think that they’re better than everyone else.. like, who raised you for behaving in such a manner? It’s so ridiculous and just, very infuriating.. ugh
No sorry… you shouldn’t be asking for anything for free, regardless of how nice your email is… the inn had no responsibility to be professional to a non customer/beggar
Um yea for some we shouldn’t be asking for free things but when it comes to a specific product it should be free. Like how are you gonna sell me a product and expect me to advertise it on my Instagram at the same time?? Like what if I didn’t like the product??
It blows my mind when people blame their fame for how they act after they gain the fame..if they went into it with pure intentions they would not have to worry about maintaining that sort of image. Bring back making actual talented people famous!!
"And yes this is a real thing that allegedly happened" okay then its not "alleged" do you not realize how dumb that whole sentence sounded? I miss Charlotte... this girl is not good at this.
The Hotel owner did not put her(Darby) on blast or mention her name she busted herself out after he posted it and it wasn’t like a very big hotel chain, it was a family owned Inn which means every stay and accommodation counts to make profit after all expenses, Universal Studios is a very big business with chains and might can afford to do these things although you would be surprised at exactly how many people actually utilize some of these exposures and sponsors and it’s less than you think. Maybe he shouldn’t have put it out there ,I am sure they have had several influencers ask and she just drew the unlucky straw but like I said he didn’t specifically put her out there she kinda of put herself out there
I feel sorry for celebs sometimes tbh, constantly having to deal with snot nose brats literally jumping on them, feeling entitled to an autograph or a hug… Everyone always wants something they can’t just appreciate what the celebs already do for them-putting out music for example can change someone’s day or even life if yet all they get in return is death threats and most of the time really rude fans who just grab at them or try and hurt them. It’s not right, they’re humans too.
Exactly!! People feel so entitled to do whatever they want to us. Like I remember one influencer I knew father past away and the fans literally came to the funeral… just to take selfies with them like I understand wanting a picture with your idol and all but they are literally morning the lost of a loved one and are burying them… that is not a time to want pictures.
You are a YOU TUBER!! Lol. All these people are going to be non existent ten years from now. Ageing is inevitable. There is going to be new and younger influencers with new trends. I really hope these people wake up and realize this
The first reborn doll was originally made by woman to give to her daughter/daughter-in-law to help her cope after a still born baby. Soon people loved the idea and they became popular for grieving parents or people who could not have a baby. Then it turned to art collection. They are beneficial to Alzheimer's patients as well. Having a replica of your own infant isn't odd if it was made for yourself, family member or friend. I have two that belong to my kids now to show how small they were and to remember out of photos how they look. It gets weird when you make one specifically of your own child to be mass made for others to purchase.
I'm sorry, you don't think Darby was being that entitled?? So you think it's OK to send begging letters to businesses who work hard for their reputation? Unbelievable. Truly unbelievable. What does say about YOUR ethics, I wonder?
WOW! It blows my mind that ANYONE would consider any of the social media sites/apps as a human being or anyone putting all these sites as important as a family member. THEY ARE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS PEOPLE. STOP MAKING THEM MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVERYTHING ELSE IN YOUR LIFE. Please do not lead that sad of a life. I'm pretty sure you will live with or without these things. You are better than that..... (FYI: IF you feel the need to reply or send me a message please make peace with the fact that I will never read it or even see it. I refuse to do the back and forth debate on my comments).✌
"What if a weirdo buys one?" Um it's a baby doll with a cloth body, what's a weirdo going to do? Cut off the head?? There's many people that would love that reborn! There's soo many out there that are copys of a real baby and people will spend from $250-$7000 on a doll like that ! They are artwork, they help people with disabilities and people that can't have baby's, some people need to learn before making fun of someone because that doll may be the only thing in life that brings them joy.
I know people are not going to like this but.... These idiots who take huge risks taking photos of themselves in very dangerous situations is really their choice to make. If it won't hurt others then whatever, have at it. Blasting them out for encouraging/inspiring other people to risk their lives reenacting the photos or doing their own dangerous photos doesn't make sense... I had heard/seen/read (don't remember) a quote one time "Who is the bigger fool - the fool? Or the fool who follows him?" They should not have to put up warnings or stop posting pictures because some one else is too stupid to realize it's a very bad idea and they shouldn't do it. Telling people not to do things that are obviously dangerous is getting out of hand, it actually just adds to and creates more issues. Survival of the fittest and all.
Nothing wrong with politely asking a company or someone to give you stuff for a shout out but if they refuse be polite and don’t go off on them geez. You gave it a shot and it failed. Move on 🤣
I seen a few people ask for a slight discount on a couple purchases to wear in pictures and give reviews. The company did an extra 10-15 percent off to cover shipping. Later to give random new items like shirts or purses to try because they gotten a bit more business from followers. That's how it should be.
I don’t know how you followed along with the JLo tweet(or what ever it was). It seemed like it was written by a bot, or someone with way too much confidence in T9.
I really like your personality and your video content but the audio is so much echo that it’s difficult to listen to. You could use foam on your walls to deaden the sound. Not trying to troll just trying to be helpful.
Some people were mad at Amanda Cearny for begging for subscribers instead of being greatful for the 187 subscribers she had at that moment, well I'm not mad at her cuz she didn't do anything wrong and she can do whatever she wants and yes that includes begging for subscribers and if people decide to subscribe to her then so be it it is what it is.
Some yts and influencers rlly be thinkin that just bcs they r famous dont mean they can ask for money from their FANS, or get free stays at hotels etc.
