These "first world problems" are supposed to apply to ppl with physical disabilities. However they can't market directly to them, because that would make the products medical equipment (which makes selling them more complicated and expensive for the consumer). so they advertise with able bodied ppl that are clumsy or lazy.

Also if they specifically say it's for handicapped people then the appliances could be categorized as medical equipment and there are regulations around that. So they advertise to everyone, but disabled and old people can also use it if they need to.
