Junior, I love this! Thanks for posting, As a huge InSoc fan, way to glow!! I knew most of the samples were from Star Trek but so cool you were able to find them all.
Kerry McKenzie Thanks man! Due to copyright problems, a lot of samples were simply ignored, because it could give some headaches to the band. I had a lot of help, you can see on the credits. I'm glad you like it!
At the end of Think the music video from Hack album. We hear Kurt saying: "i can make you all go away! Any time i want to". I've heard the same quote in episode: Charlie X from Star Trek TOS
On "A Knife and a Fork" ,do you know where "A knife and a fork, a bottle and a cork, that's the way to spell New York" came from? It sounds like Dennis the Menace.
Yes, but what is the sample after "destruction" in What's On Your Mind? During the break after the second chorus, there are three samples repeated for 8 measures. "Destruction," "__________" and "pure energy." What is the middle sample?? That has always been the biggest sample mystery to me in their music.
I'm pretty sure that's a sample from a performance of Peter Pan - but I don't know which. Now mine: anyone know where the vocal samples came from (e.g. "five thousand dollars in cash") in _Hard Currency_ off Hack? At least one of them sounds like Shatner...
