Pretty terrible imo. Mine has so many issues. Constant problems finding bluetooth devices, doesn't let you remove old devices, defaults to radio every time you start the car, even if your bluetooth is connected before starting. Not to mention no cd or dvd slot. On top of these and many other issues, the abnormal shape and connectivity of the unit makes it expensive to replace with a unit that actually works properly
NO DVD option on my Redline and i have GPS, also noticed no text reading service via my bluetooth and other features you have to pick which one you want, its like Pandora, you an only have X amount of service operational at one time so you have to pick which ones you want. :)
Changing the colour on the screen from rd to blue u mean? its a software update, just googld holden mylink colour change will come up with places that do it
Just hopeless. Cant default audio to bluetooth- every time i start the car I have to start listening to some crappy FM station. What is this 1995? Wish I'd never bought a Holden
Angry Hugo oh gosh such a horrible problem! I guess you should throw the whole car away because your head unit doesn’t default to BT when you start your car 🤣🤣 big deal mate
@@CarlitoJuanito It sounds minor but its potentially dangerous. My eyes aren't on the road for the first km of every drive I take. I start the car - radio comes on very loud, I turn it down, but continue with radio until bluetooth connects, I have to keep looking to see when bluetooth connects - it takes a while - when it connects I touch "source" then"Bluetooth" then I have to turn the volume way up to hear. By then I'm about one km into my drive. I have to do that EVERY time I start. Next time I start the volume comes on the radio incredibly loud because I had it on bluetooth. I turn it down...etc etc
Angry Hugo mate. It’s only dangerous for YOU because you’re the type that starts the car and drives straight away. You do realise you can start the car, make an adjustment to your stereo and THEN drive right? Also if you know anything about cars and how they work, its not the best thing for your engine to start and drive instantaneously all the time. Yeah it’s annoying, ANNOYING is the word your looking for, not “dangerous”. It doesn’t pose a danger at all. All you have to do is go that little bit further and play with your head unit before taking off, thats all. You don’t have to drive and make changes if you just made the changes before you drove.
Angry Hugo my point is, yeah its annoying that it takes time for your phone to connect and then for you to press source, but you could just wait that little longer before driving for it to connect. I’ve been doing so for years with various models of cars old and new.
