This 9 mile circular started near the Ribblehead viaduct visiting the fells of Ingleborough, Simon and Park fell, and at the end Steam Locomotive Tangmere crosses the viaduct

Loved the old viaduct Nigel and I love the sound of rushing water too and what a beautiful area, the views were fantastic around there. Great to see that steam train at the end and the beautiful historic station 🙂👍~ Anna

Hi Anna, just a great area to visit even though it does get busy you can find some isolation, how they built the viaducts back in the day is mind blowing, ran out of time was hoping to go into the old station for a nosy next time will, cracking view of the steam train at the end finished the walk off nicely, enjoy your week cheers nigel

Hi Carrie, ye the weather was spot on and didnt really start coming until i was on the way home, knew the train was coming over the viaduct just needed to get round in time, it really was the cherry on the cake for me along with the views and some fell miles under my belt, thanks for coming along cheers nigel and thanks for the good luck wishes with the 3Ps

It must be 20 years since I was last up there, the only one of the 3 peaks I have ever done. The viaduct looked just as impressive as I remembered it and nice climb up. I wondered if you would managed to get a stream train in and you did nit disappoint lol, cheers Alan

Hi Alan, just an impressive place to walk in and considering they was going to close the viaduct in 1991, well pleased they didnt, yes i seem to be getting addicted to the steam trains they certainly add to the walk LOL, thanks for watching cheers nigel

That was brilliant Nige - loved it. A great star at the viaduct and an impressive walk in. Ingleborough looked like a real beast a few miles out. Nicely ascended and a great loop back. All good for the 3 peaks. What a fantastic sight at the end with the Steamer - the big fells behind - wow. Well, here's to your challenge. All the best for the week ahead. Mark

Hi Mark, thanks mate ye walking towards Ingleborough at the start did look and was a real beast to get up, most people i saw were puffing and blowing just like me LOL, yes now must get the hard yards done now before the day of the challenge comes round, terrific end to the walk with the steamer with Whernside in the background a day to remember, thanks for coming along and the encouragement in tackling the 3 peaks challenge, enjoy the longer days to come mate cheers nigel

@@nigelharness9032 A pleasure as always Nige. Yeah, a boomer to walk - no pain no gain. A tip - I walk around the city and my every day with a little weight in my sack. I call it 'silent training.' It works bro - shopping everything. Yeah, can feel spring already. Peace

@@nigelharness9032 Yeah, I have a sand bag in mine. People don't know that's why I call it 'silent training.' Around my estate and into the country - normal country walks I'll put two sandbags in - almost full weight. I'm used to it now. All the best with it.
