Shit i grew up there in 80s and 90s, warzone!. Im glad i can still go and it's not as bad.... there's still gang murders, but not in every other block like it used to be.

People should be proud when a place you and your friends grew up is no longer dangerous. This means there's economic and social opportunities that will keep kids off the streets. That doesn't mean crime and corruption are gone. It means they're no longer as prevalent.

I lived in Inglewood for 4 years in the APGz hood right on the corner of Crenshaw and Thoreau. He's correct in saying that Inglewood is not what they say it used to be like anymore and that's a good thing. It's still some bangers lurking around there though that's for sure so watch your step regardless. I loved living in Inglewood. I live in TX now.
Inglewood is 80% a middle class suburb and 20% grimey. It does however have many gangs traditionally since the 1970's Inglewood is primarily working class / middle class black and latino families where most kids come from 2 parent homes. The gang violence makes it dangerous and certain pockets do have extreme poverty. Overall it's way better than parts of south LA/ East LA, Compton and long beach.

It's sort of like Brownsville from Florida that used to be a bad neighborhood in Miami and now they changed it they rejuvenize the whole neighborhood and a lot of the gangs were taken down by the police

LA is the original gang city. They had the first modern street gangs. White Fence from east LA started in 1910 and is still active. Dogtown started in 1890 and is still around.
Us and the IF stopped warring around 1980, becuz we got into it with the 60’s. We still had a few incidents with the IF after that, but ALL OF OUR ATTENTION went to the 60’s while still stand on the 90’s necc’s! Now us and the IF still don’t beef.

I’m from Atlanta they’re BIG here but you got it wrong they not on the east side. They in zone 3 it’s like the south east/ south west. Mainly a neighborhood called summer hill.
I grew up in the WOOD and went back last year after 20 years. I didn't even recognize it. I expecting to have to watch my back, and i found starbucks and ........ well you get my point.

Not too accurate journalism goin on in this one. Crenshaw and collesum isn’t in the 60s nor is it a 60s hangout. And if you know la gangs you would know there isn’t a single leader of a gang. Im from IfGB and i moved yrs ago to Seattle for reasons better left not stated here. However my son got out of the Marines 3yrs ago and moved back to where he was raised, Inglewood. Watching this video im not as worried as i use to be. Thank god my city is changing. Im happy to hear it.

You got a few things wrong in the video. Azchike is not apart of Inglewood families he is just close to Rucci and is around them from that affiliation. He said this himself when the beef between him and Drakeo started. Then secondly Drakeo dropped Ingleweird first, the after Chike dropped his Drakeo dropped the video for it.
