Great Tips 57Cell. My tip is to do a field set with as many VPS Activated portals as you can, it's just so fast to farm the keys, then use Battle Beacons. Then farm some more keys...
Hello, 57Cell! I've got basic medal by myself in 30 minutes after event started, using 23 portals fanfield and battle beacon :) It was first medal in Ukraine taken among both factions 🎉
Great video! I was wondering how long it would take you to get this uploaded 😇 After watching your first plan and sleeping on it, I think I have come up with another way to explain how to run that op with three agents, in case anyone watching is having trouble figuring out who throws where when they're out running the op. I do these sorts of "splitting the triangle" layered fields quite a bit, solo, and I sometimes find it confusing to keep track when the fields become those weird skinny stretched-out triangles you get towards the edges. TL;DR: each agent links to the outer-field anchor that they DIDN'T link together when making the outer field. (Which is exactly what you said, but re-framed slightly.) Longer explanation so you can check my reasoning: we'll label each portal with a letter of the alphabet, and each agent with a number. Agent 1 creates link AB; agent 2, BC; agent 3, CA, forming a field ABC. Then they go to portal D which is covered by ABC. Agent 1 didn't link to portal C when the team made ABC, so they create link DC; agent 2 didn't link to A, so they create link DA; agent 3 didn't link to B, so they create link DB. Does that make sense? I hope explaining it another way is useful to some people reading this 😀
I already have the bronze medal, along with a bonus gold Mind Controller 😁I'm pretty much resigned to not getting the silver one. Just not enough time on my part, and not enough active local agents with overlapping schedules to collaborate with. But I'm OK with that. Comment on the two-agent herringbone and the fan field ops: you don't actually have to both be out fielding that area at the same time. I currently have a set of layers for a herringbone in place, and I've arranged with another agent to come through and do the back links when they have time. As long as nobody blows anything up before then, we should be good. We probably can't re-throw those fields until the portals have decayed, so it doesn't matter if they take a few days to get around to it. For a three-agent herringbone, you wouldn't be able to build the layers unless two of you went out together, but I think you'd still be OK to throw the links as separate outings. Same with the fan field - one agent throws the fan, another comes by later and throws the connecting links. Another tip, if you have a time machine: Go back to six days before the event starts and build some anchors in a quiet area, then let them decay. On day one of the event, throw some fields off them. On day two the anchors will have dropped, and you can re-throw the fields right away 😆
@@57Cell Thanks mate, gonna be in for alot of grinding. I don't have any teammates who I can co-op with to make fields in my area. Can patch up friendly links to make fields though
Mr 57 cell. Thanks for the video. If its not much to ask i have seen pics and rumours on how to make all 8 resonator lvl 8 using virus. I tried and failed. So many greens here, 8 to 1. I must farm from my coach otherwise nonway :( . I cry i cry.
You need at least 2 agents, because the one who flips the portal to your faction can not then add a new level 8 resonator. So it goes like this: * Agents 1, 2, 3, etc.. put some level 8 resonators on * Portal is flipped to the opposing faction, then agent 1 flips it back again later. * Now agent 1 owns all the resonators and mods. Agents 2, 3, etc .. add more level 8 resonators. * Repeat as needed
