Well said, you know in 1953 this tax was implemented but it could not remove wealth inequality in India that's why it was scrapped. Merely decrease in income and wealth inequality doesn't mean that there will be an increase in GDP growth in the country. Because if it was as such, our country India, would not have to face extreme poverty which was almost at the stage of bankruptcy with only 19 days of food left in 1991.The government should focus on wealth creation, not just on taxes.
