I feel like I've probably said this before, but I watched this video again recently and it has to be my favorite roaming montage. I really love the way you edit with skill icons and the quick analysis of opponents to illustrate your thought process in how you approach the fights. Aside from your obvious talent and ability with scepter FA! I know when you do this a lot it can start to feel like your victories (and losses) come cheap. Nobody's impressed with a highlight reel anymore. Oh, look. More people losing by being baited into going for an ill-advised revive or making one mistake in a duel vs. another glass build! Never seen THAT before! But you make this look good and it's just plain fun to watch! Really excellent work!
Dude, respect. I had an idea very similar recently about doing the "Predator" style analysis - I kind of put it on the backburner, and when I saw that in the preview in my feed I was like.... this guy obviously rules. Great video and editing. Total legend.
Phenomenal editing and fashion sense (those claws coupled with your animations of skills!). Skill usage paired with confidence are off the charts. Was fun watching the whole thing!
Good kill on yama he is a noob already I think he is overrated yea I farm him too, citron also farm him like idk I think he needs to close his channel yea that's all I guess
Amazing gameplay, but I think even more noteworthy is the humans mashup. While the audio quality is a little rough, your taste and ability in the actual mixing is astonishingly good! Entirely up to you, but please consider releasing a touched up version on youtube or soundcloud or something. Great work all around! I can't wait to see more. You got me back into FA weaver with your recent videos.
Thank you! Really glad to hear you liked the mashup. I did export the song on its own, but wasn’t able to touch it up further on the video editor (without paying for extras). I will have a tinker on some audio software and see if I can make it less rough.
I ve seen a lot of wvw montages and they are 'yeah yeah wevs'..,but this is next level hilarity. That opening scene ~ good lord! The rifle warrior... FUARRKKKKKKKKKK
great video. really could be the best I've seen because it deals with a spec i think is more fun than sword - which can be dodged tons by Rangers. Some one probably asked but do you try to swap between dagger and focus depending on situation, opponent? Any luck facing a ranger or rip your face off in 3 seconds dragon hunter?
Thanks! In all honesty I usually just decide whether I want to play with Dagger or Focus. Focus is probably better (especially if you compare the builds inused in this vid) since it gives you a bit more protection from classes that out range you (e.g. ranger), I mainly played dagger for fun and something a bit different. I changed the sc/d build in my last video though and I think it's probably as good as offhand Focus. Ranger is completely op at the moment but you can beat the longbow variants that pew pew you quickly. If you are running Focus, then you need to use your defensives very well. Ranger has quite a lot of defensives, such as doltak stance, stone signet etc. The idea is the pressure the ranger to use them, then use your defensives to wait out the skills while denying the ranger their bursts. Then you should be able to go in and cc/burst them. Dragon hunter is killable, but you have to dodge spear of justice and true shot really well. You can reflect the true shot as well, which can sometimes one shot them! It's a case of learning their animations. The main thing is keeping a really close eye on what is happening around you.
@@Exzen wow I didn't realize it was possible but just a close eye on things. Thanks So much! this makes me not hate my Ele some nights but my lack of attention :)
Now that I'm bored of Tempest, I'm fully committed to learning to play Weaver. Already finding the PvE rotations hard enough, no idea how you managed to get your Earth-4 right on time to Reflect.
@@Exzen you seem to be below 90% most of the time (atleast in this montage) for it to be of use. any reasoning behind the usage of this rune set? or is it just for the opening burst.
@@riyazm9518 The main reason is the power + ferocity stats in all honesty. I have 65% base crit chance with my stats, plus high fury uptime and a 15% crit chance bonus to weakened foes - meaning the while I am bursting I am often at 100% crit chance. Therefore rune options with precision are not optimal, since it will push me over the cap for crit chance a lot of the time - which rules out rune choices like Pack and Eagle. Scholar is therefore the best of the rest for my set up. The 5% damage above 90% health is just a bonus really.
There is a small difference in stats between exotic and ascended/legendary, but it will still be possible to play in exotic gear - it will just be slightly more difficult!
last fight of the video... so many allies just passed by and didnt even lift a finguer to help even when they were 2 vs you.... too many brainless peoples omg... gj winning that one.
Haha, it's a montage, not a complete documentary of all my wins and losses. Hes definitely downed me plenty. Id say he's a better duelist than me, so wins more than I do when we do fight, I am probably better 1vX, since that's what I mostly enjoy doing.
@@Exzen I'll help you brainstorm. 1 build, 2 skill combos, 3 how to setup burst, what to do after burst, and 4 live gameplay commentary of how you approach each fight and why you do what you do.
that [idol] and [you] thieves at the end are so toxic, encountered them many times, gank people 2v1 then send you angry messages when they die outnumbered.
me and my girl, dont randomly whisper people out of the blue. especially not the [you] thief. i let people trash talk me first before i bm them or any of that sort.
Wow, that sounds toxic af, but that's normal for thief players :) especially the permastealth variety XD they do not like getting killed at all, tis but a game...
