Just letting you know in case you don't already: FINAL ACT has hidden images if you play the song through a spectrogram, including a tribute to Kentaro Miura

PS: Your intro song is fire.
The original voyd edit of The Record Shop is much harder, idk why he put those tearout-type stabs in the back instead of being in the front like they used to be
What I've noticed with Danny is that he mainly uses saws or heavily distorted squares as subs. I think because the stuff is geared more towards live shows where the subwoofers will provide plenty of low end energy and there will be more texture in the highs, but this is at thr expense of the average listener.
@@mr.fufucudlypoops8207that means youre using pretty bass boosted headphonea. Am I wrong? Send me the model nr. Im using Dt1990s and nothing translates basically and even that has a bit of a bell in the low end like 2-2.5db
@@samuelivascu7633 i use at m50x's and have no problem with the sub in these tracks, i think its because he's listening on monitors. Especially maze of punishment, has such a nice sub.
@@samuelivascu7633 TIN audio T2 is what I was using. It's a fairly balanced pair but they're in-ears so it feels like more bass than it actually is. Plus they have a really nice high-end so I honestly prefer when songs don't have a ton of bass.
@@yeticonfettis i use monitors too. Yamaha HS8s in combo with my dt1990s but still the bass feels lacking and in a spectrogram actually overblown as hell. Fox stevenson for example manages to bring the bass through way more with about 4db less on the sub
it's so funny how much I am so similar to your takes yet so far off. You have some of the weirdest consistency I've ever seen a reviewer have, it's not great
its crazy that you said magic armour was the best song and the youtube version is garbage compared to the soundcloud version haha nonetheless it was my favorite track
I love your music and you quickly became one of my favorite in the scene. i don’t know if you will see this but, I wish everyday I would’ve saw you play at least one set as code:pandorum 😅 just wanted to share some kinds words
The maze of punishment is getting a hold of you because in every song you keep saying oh best song! and then the other half nah I don't like it... It's unintenionally playing with your mind. Genius concept!
Kereberot, Thirst for Revenge, and Demonic Curse just blow my mind. they would go off live and definitely go off in my headphones. three insane songs for real... theyre up there with Terrible and Brainstorm fr
I love your construtive opinion on Void 2, even if u are good with Svdden death. I enjoy many of these drops too, some drops i dont know how to feel about
When i first saw live video of "kereberot" i was like "this is the heaviest song ever. But then i heard the actual song and the mix down realllllly ruins it. Live im sure its insain but like...i made it 10 seconds through the drop and was like yeah this isnt hitting
i do understand why people call it riddim since it uses riddim drum pattern and that old school kick plus clap snare layer... so i would call it more riddim than dubstep lets call it dark or heavy riddim since it clearly isnt dubstep og dubstep or brostep
If maybe we’re to share some presets on your Patreon I would join! It’s always nice to reverse engineer great sounds from titans in the game like yourself to get better with sound design.
