I swear I have never understood why when people talk about must-listen death metal bands they never mention Iniquity. Serenadium album is definitely one of my very favourites in the genre.

Made a good impression on me when Iniquity drummer came in our rehearsing room and saw my huge set and said that is a fucking good set pearl you got yourself there:) I was tiny younger so thought yes. I nailed it. HAHA. No Ive been to gigs with these guys back in 1996 even. Really cult.
INIQUITY is some of the very best technical death from the "old danish era" imho.. It is on such a highly skilled level in every single element.. Just take a look in this video..... Melodic, fast and ultra precision.. Amazing breaks, overtones, harmonie´s and brutal growl.. The drummer alone is world-class.. The band playing together - and it becomes out of this world.. Just WOW ! Such a shame that a forever disbanding is going to take place very soon. Their music is a treasure.
one of the highlights in their music for me is the seamless transitioning in each song; the tempo changes etc. never feel forced or out of place, adding just the right amount of variation to avoid being monotonous. Solid compositions.
I was super excited some years ago when I found a “Serenadium” shirt online for sale. It was size large. I normally wear extra large but sometimes a large will fit, especially before the wash/dry cycle. Well, the shirt came from Indonesia or something, I can’t remember and it was barely big enough for a 5 year old. It wouldn’t even go below my belly button. I still have the shirt in my bottom drawer and love it, but I can never wear it. I’ve never been able to find another one for sale since.
Oskytel Turkeylegs funny I've done the same with a couple of shirts. I fit a medium (in England) sometime a large in Europe and sometimes a small in certain US brands. It all depends on the brand. Always check the size charts bud, there's no standard.
In my Band they cant live without me on drums, So i get treated good. But sure alot of fools are only into digging guitarists and think that drummers are primitive or not that organized? Or not even those who does most of the job often. Its so sad that people think drumming is so simple when its not:) Hails from Denmark.
In my experience it's bassists who are always treated like shit. The stupid band I was in before always joked about how they didn't even need bass etc. Then when I quit they were all super upset and frantic to find someone to play bass for the upcoming show. Bunch of fucking losers
