Question. Is the SW20 the codename for the MR2 like Shingo's EG6 Civic? I used to think it was the name of an Iroza Slopes hairpin. But apparently it's the car. But it looks a hell of a lot like an MR2, and I'm confused.
@@sovb the "codename" sw20 is more of like a variation of the mr2 since there were many different kinds produced similar to the eg6. with the eg6 civic, the anime presents the ek7, another variation to the civic. also the same thing with takumi's ae86. his version is a toyota ae86 trueno 86 3-door. it's one version of the 86. bit of a rant, but while mr2 is the name of the car, sw20 is a variation of the car, whether built for street purpose, sport purpose, race, etc.
This has to be my second favorite race in the series. I love sw20’s and this track has some awesome secrets we didn’t know about in the first race with the EVO
@@then00brathalos Well Bunta did say even if Takumi goes side by side to the MR2 it would still be luck who wins, so if he didn't show his hand early and jumped later Takumi wouldn't realise he has to use the gutter and he would just finish normally; avoiding leaves

what, the SW pulled ahead of Eight-Six ? At the 33rd Corner?! this has turned into one incredible Race. Well Played Kogashiwa! (Takumi's shocking Reaction)
@maximo ventura rally cars are built for jumping and other crazy things. The hills and corners in Irohazaka are not that high which the suspension cannot break. What I'm saying is rally cars can jump higher.
You gotta have softer suspension like Takumi's AE86 in order to do that jump properly. Edit: I am also pretty sure that I was mentioned that the 86 had rally suspension as well.
Ae86 aka toyota trueno? Why not just say the full name so everyone knows exactly what car your talking about? Toyota corolla sprinter AE86 trueno gt apex.
@@raaabonlaaanon8855 because we initial d fans all know that ae86 means that. And the full name is really long and takes a long time to type. Also in the anime, they literally all use the term, "eight six". So yeah, that's why.
0:25 Oh, I recently started playing CarX Drift Racing Online, and the interface has changed quite a lot over the past 5 years compared to the 2017 one.
@@user-mx1fq6qm6i I think mr 2 is really expensive i'll give a example from my country , average mr2 is around 1.800.000 ,Subaru impreza 2.5 wrx sti around 1.500.000 and average Subaru BRZ is around 2.000.000 ,mr2 is a really rare car but i don't think it deserves that much
I pull this when playing arcade stage on my friend who primarily plays wangan. And he was completely destroyed Guess someone should have watch anime more often
