@@フランクランドン There actually was and is a lot of drivers like that, maybe not outright cheating per say but they bend the rules as far as they can. Half the entertainment is the battle between scrutineers/officials and drivers/teams! The other half is how long the "cheating" (solid, but not hugely gifted in talent) drivers can hold on against against monsters behind the wheel, with what little margin they gained through... unconventional means.
I reminisce Initial D3 so much.. I wish I was back in 2005-08 Era again. So much memories so much fun with my friends mostly gone now 😢. But I keep our memories ALIVE! Initial D3 was amazing and beautiful game! I competed against so many people I charish everything! I still have my original cards till this day. I miss everything and ESPECIALLY Everyone around that time. Nothing like that feeling when your bro hit u up and said ay bro Head down to Scandia some new comer's came to challenge the local that's how deep it got with this game. I managed to get to lvl 24 out off 31 max you could reach till I unfortunately lost my wallet 🥹. I learned a lot through our these years. But got damn how I miss this game 🎮!
I highly recommend VRChat's Initial D worlds to get the same itch playing a JDM touge racing game. VR Headsets aren't required just a PC good enough to run the game in desktop mode which isn't that hard.
at the end he realizes that he was just holding Takumi back by being in front for so long. if they were ghost racing (time attack) Takumi would've left him in the dust
@@hybridShinx He doesn't even need a new car to begin with, this isn't NFS Most Wanted or Carbon He has his own cars to do and is content with them, but either way, Takumi was clearly being held back by Ichijo
@@gdmya actually he does or should, do you honestly believe you can really survive in a AE86 ? I sure dont 😎 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-azDa6N_5Rz8.html a fanmade sequel
It’s really stupid but it’s because the home course (Tsuchihasaka) has a lot of low speed yet very long hairpins and it was just to allow for a more aggressive four wheel drift in these corners It’s complete bs in my opinion but that’s what the canonical reason for it was from what I remember.
@@Ezmeon idk about the aggressive drift part, but i know that it doesnt need downforce cuz it is awd and the course mostly consists of low speed corners, and the straights well less drag
That's because he's not even trying to win fairly. He knows by putting psychology to Takumi he was going to win by getting emotionally affected. Or so he thought anyway.
@@shimikaze2010 if he was as good as Bunta, the race would be boring because he would have pulled away too far for Takumi to win in a couple of corners 😂.
@@shimikaze2010 if he's as good as Bunta, Takumi had no chance because the Evo itself is a car that on another league compared to AE86 XD, luckily the driver have some skill issues
The driver of the Evo 6 has a Bad brake technique, he brake early, and takumi has a profesional brake skills very different, brakes in just moment and the necesary
For those saying takumi got armor plot and it isnt realistic (yeah maybe some point but fact is the 86 he got is like Civic Eg kswap but rwd Bruh that shit gonna leave stock evo in dust even just straight accleration
Its also because touge racing barely cares about hp. Takumi has insane turn navigation and thats what makes him win (even if the Evo does corner like a motherfucker)
Removing the wing from an AWD car is good, since I remember Ryosuke said he employs high level grip onto all tires. Removing the wing adds more "force" onto the car, and more drag, it then makes the car oversteer. This makes sense because AWDs always understeer in the corners.
Evos can be hit or miss on touge, evos can be sketchy when it comes to practicality on asphalt, and also it really depends on the course for it to be effective or not
One thing that always cracks me up during those races are the spectators, a.k.a "couch experts", sharing their "knowledge" and "ideas" on attacking this or that corner. If you are so skilled and experienced, why are you standing among spectators instead of raicng yourself?
